[SIZE=9pt]These Gladius where made for the standing armed forces of the Azure Imperium. They were made to be able to parry any kinds of weapons including lightsabres. The look of the blade doesn’t give that fact away until it actually occurs as it is a piercing weapon and not a slashing one meaning that the blade can’t cut materials. Another thing to it is the blade won’t be able to deflect anything away from the user.[/SIZE]

Hello again, have we met? You look familiar!

So in this submission there appears to be a glaring issue. I will try to break it down as best I can without rambling on too much.

Cortosis is an extremely energy resistant/anti-lightsaber material. However it is very brittle and much weaker than powerful metals like Phrik or Songsteel. It is true that a Cortosis blade can cause a lightsaber to short out, however weapons with a Cortosis Weave are merely resistant to lightsabers and energy based weapons.

Now, you do say there is enough Cortosis in the blade to cause a lightsaber to shut down. I do not see a way for there to be enough Cortosis to short out a lightsaber while still maintaining the strength of Songsteel. Not to mention I feel reforging and relating a blade like this would be insanely difficult due to the trick nature of repairing songsteel.

Moving forward I will need you to make edits to bring this submission to a proper place.

You may either remove the Cortosis entirely, which is what I would reccomend. Since you have songsteel, an already lightsaber resistant metal, I don't think you'd need Cortosis if it can no longer short out the lightsaber. Or you can make the Cortosis the primary metal in this blade, however that will make the blade much weaker and brittle.

I do not see many ways that you will be able to field a Mass Produced blade with the effects of Cortosis and the strength of Songsteel. Thanks for your time and feel free to ask if you have any questions.

And so do you, I think we have met before. I agree, it was an idea i was tossing around but your right their aren't many ways too get a weapon with both at mass production. So I lost the cortosis weave and any mention of it following the idea of songsteel and since it's only songsteel now i dropped the weight rating. Thanks again for helping me with my sub.
