Special Features:
- Includes a high propulsion rail gun gun that shoots the blade out at high speeds allowing quick deployment, if blade is not in scabbard pressing the trigger again will activate the magazine catch temporarily turning it into a normal though hard to aim rail gun.
- The Rail Gun deployment system also heats up the blade though convection current, making for a hot cutting edge, increasing the lethality of the sword
Strengths
- The Phrick blade makes it semi-resistant against sabers, though will break if subjected to to many blows.
- Rail Gun deployment allows for quick second slashing if not cutting through enemy armor all together delivers shocking blunt force.
- As with all vibro blade electricity will cause the vibro generator to fry and potentially cause the hilt of the blade to detonate.
- The blade and its scabbard combined are rather heavy, compared to a regular vibro sword, which makes it a bit slower to swing after the initial strike.
Description:
Early on during project Nechrosis plans where made to train Ay Ge (test subject 603) in all manners of combat, but test soon found out that she had a natural gift for sword play and close quarters combat. This lead to the development of a custom blade, but specifically o play to Ays cybernetic augmentation and likeness for quick clean and lethal slices.
The result was a quick release scabbard and vibro blade designed with a rail-gun propulsion system which would allow Ay to release the blade and swing with super human speed a strength as a way to get the drop on her assigned target when ever they where in arms reach. A side effect of this system was that the blade would become heated during deployment, but test soon concluded that such an effect would benefit Ay.
Lastly as a counter measure for those that may either dige or block said blade, Ays R&D team also modified the scabbard to have proper rail gun mechanism that upon firing the blade could be activated temporally converting it into a normal rail gun to be used in tight situations.
