Ayasha

"In whatever manner it comes to be, love is never wrong; especially between one who has so much of it to give, and one so desperately in need of it."
Basic Statistics
Name: Ayasha
Age: 26
Origin: Nar Shaddaa

Familial Ties
Mother: Unknown Togruta
Father: Unknown Human
Other relationship(s): N/A

Physical Characteristics
Height: 5’5”
Weight: 116 lbs
Species: Togruta-Human hybrid
Eye color: Lavender
Hair color: Dark brunette
Skin color: Olive, with a rusted-orange tint; white stripes of parent species across her body.
Distinguishing features: The lekku typical of a Togruta grow from the base of her skull, while long, curly hair falls from the top of her head down her shoulders. Furthermore, she sports the white stripes seen as a form of natural camouflage among the Togruta, but her skin tone doesn’t match, taking on a more typical Human coloration. Finally, her canines are noticeably sharper than the average Human, though not quite as prominent as that of a full-blooded Togruta.

Abnormalities: Scarring on the left side of her face, along with her left arm, from when a drunk patron threw a bottle at her. Not extreme, but prominent enough that it rarely goes unnoticed.

Mannerisms: From all she has endured, from being born into slavery to the horrors experienced since then, Ayasha is a gentle, kindhearted individual. Her sometimes childlike behavior is a result of stunted emotional growth, along with a relative naivety to the greater galaxy and all who inhabit it. Despite these shortcomings, she is a very warm person, quick to strike up a conversation and befriend anyone who demonstrates the same kindness in return.

Greatest flaw: Her greatest flaw is likely her naivety that spawns from a largely sheltered life, where her only concern was obeying every order and whim while doing her best to avoid trouble. Because of this, she can sometimes get into a mess that could have been easily prevented, or she can find herself speaking with those better left alone.

Best quality: If a life of slavery is capable of any sort of good development, the only vaguely positive impact it had on Ayasha was making her highly perceptive in ways most aren’t, or are simply unaware of. She picks up on verbal and physical cues many would ignore or brush aside, and this information can give her an advantage should she need one.

Are you Force-sensitive? No.

Emotional and Mental Characteristics
Alignment: True Neutral
Language(s): Imperial Basic, broken Huttese
Positive Traits:
+ Do Unto Others: Ayasha is very kindhearted, making her very easily approachable and almost impossible not to befriend.
+ I Saw That: As a slave, she became naturally sensitive to her surroundings and the actions and words of others. She is very perceptive, and notices things many would disregard as trivial, as it’s the small things that always made her life easiest.
+ I Don’t Want to Remember: While her large amount of repressed memories leave her without a true sense of self beyond the personality she has constructed, it also allows her to lead a life supposedly free of all the traumas she has endured.

Negative Traits:
- What’s That Say?: Being born into slavery, Ayasha is entirely illiterate, and cannot read or write in any language.
- A Picture of Innocence: While not naive to the horrors the galaxy has to offer, or even naive in the traditional sense, Ayasha is still unaware to a great extent how the greater galaxy functions. Moreso, she is unaware of the complexities of individuals and governments within it, as she has lived a mostly sheltered life.
- I Can’t Remember: Due to suffering near-constant traumas since a very young age, Ayasha has a slew of repressed memories, and thusly doesn’t recall much from her childhood or life in general; or at least, none of the particularly gruesome or terrible parts. Thusly, her sense of identity and emotional growth are both fairly stunted, causing her to maintain a somewhat childish outlook and personality.

History
Ayasha is the product of two slaves being forcibly bred in order to create a hybrid that would bring in more profit than either of its parents combined. In that realm her masters certainly succeeded, and from early childhood she was the picture of exoticness, sporting traits of both her parent species in equal amounts, a seemingly perfect combination of genetics that would be nearly impossible to recreate. Of course, she was never given the opportunity to know her parents, because as soon as she was able to survive without them she was taken elsewhere to be housed, fed and trained.

Her earliest memory is of the man she recalls being her first owner after she was first sold teaching her to speak Imperial Basic, a language the young child picked up on extremely quickly, soaking up the information like a sponge. However, her education halted at a basic vocabulary, and she was never taught to read or write, as those skills were entirely obsolete for her future. Instead, after ensuring she was capable of communicating effectively, she was put to work.

The years afterwards transpired in fits and bursts she is unable, or perhaps simply unwilling, to recall. The next thing she remembers is receiving the two tattoos down her left arm, given that she was finally grown enough that the ink wouldn’t warp across her skin. Along with this she also received a tongue piercing, and multiple piercings in her right ear, all for attracting future customers, of course. She was given time for the piercings to heal before being sent off to work yet again, and in the following weeks attracted more clientele than she ever had before.

It was in the months following in which she was once again sold, this time to a Hutt, which is where she has spent the duration of her life since then. It was under his ownership that she received the scarring on the left side of her face and down that arm, as a drunk patron threw a glass at her after she refused service she wasn’t permitted to perform. The incident rendered her broken property in the eyes of this master, but she still remains in his possession, if just because of her unique and exotic appearance.
