Axis or Ally

Jasmine waited lazily for her guest to arrive. Although dressed in one of her custom luxury dresses, she laid out, belly up, on one of her reclining beds watching one of the low quality programming channels on the holonet. It constituted of some fake drama between sisters, but she liked the background sound as she coded on her datapad, munching on a sweet stick. Jasmine was encrypting new security protocols for her residence when one of her servant droids, her chief butler droid, sporting the unchanging look he was produced with, "Madam, your guest will arrive soon, I suggest we prepare for her arrival."

Jasmine's eyebrows raised as she remembered who she was going to be hosting, a person she had met at the festival on Falleen, the Silver Jedi Order woman. She tried her best to get off the reclining bed, but after a few budges, and some help, she managed to roll off. She got up briskly and started making headway towards the front door, anxious to meet the new arrival.

A speeder bike pulled up to the curb outside a rather impressive estate.

Liuna’s boots hit the pavement as she slid down off the seat and pulled off her helmet. Her dark eyes took in the lovely sight before her and her gaze widened. “Wow.” She spoke silently, ruffling up her dark brown tresses to avoid having ‘helmet hair.’ As she approached the driveway, she pulled a small piece of paper out of her pocket. On the note was an address that had been written by Viceroy Zittoun at the Starlight Festival. She’d met the other woman while outside the food stalls… they had really hit it off.

Despite the fiery words that had been exchanged that night, Liuna held no grudges. The other woman had apologized, after all. And now, she was rather interested to see the flame-haired politician again. Liuna imagined that this was going to be a social call, but there was always the opportunity for a little bit of business as well. Her work as an agent of the Silver Shadows never really ended.

After double checking the address, she continued on towards the house. On the stoop, she rang the doorbell and resisted the urge to peek inside the windows… she’d have her chance to see the interior shortly.
