- Molecular Edge - The Avalanche had been envisioned as a primarily as a bludgeoning weapon, but its psychically honed edges are still sharp enough to cleave through soft targets like an axe.

For ages, the venerable lightsaber was more than enough for general use against common foes. However, as saber wielding Force Users had become ubiquitous in the galaxy once more, so had defenses against their most iconic weapon. Most troublesome was exotic armor that could eat lightsaber blows all day, either through sorcery, technology, or adamantine materials.
If Jyoti couldn't cut them down, then she would simply beat them to a pulp right through their glittering armor and shields.
It started with a sharpened slab of neutronium-phrik alloy that was more akin to cleaver or club than a sword. The heavy blade alone made for a devastating bludgeoning weapon able to generate enough concussive force to damage a heavily armored opponent through its heft alone. However, she continued to develop the sword into and even deadlier power weapon.
The popular option from here was to couple edged weapons with a vibro-generator, but Jyoti came up with an alternative solution to allow her to effectively trade blows with much larger foes without having to draw too heavily on the Force. With a clever application of an inertial compensator, she reversed the effect to greatly boost inertia and potential energy.
When the booster was active, a blow from the Echani would feel like it had been delivered by an enraged Wookiee.
She would always favor her more elegant lightsaber and foils for their precision, but the pragmatist understood that sometimes that the best tool for the job wasn't a scalpel, but a big ole stick of ugly.
