The young girl smiled and nodded, he had understood. "Each door that presents itself to you opens to a new path in life, some of them will open upon great things and happiness others .. to suffering and pain but each one you walk through will always make you stronger even if you do not think it at the time".

Even though he knew her words to be true, already Theo had suffered in his young life and knew death, he still stood there tentative and unsure. "Be brave Theo, always be brave. Have the courage others lack in fortitude and grace. Do not, never not, be afraid to show others your weaknesses. Just as you would show them your strengths, and when you do, they will respect you for it and know what it is to see a true leader of men".

He said not a word, only stood there taking in everything she said to him. So wise beyond her years, she only looked to no more then he, maybe as old as Nina but still she had existed for such a long time. "Have you always lived here?", he asked her wonder what her connection was to this place.

"Yes and no. I am the keeper and now my journey has come to an end". She looked upon him with sadness. "No, why?".

"Because you will take the what you are looking for, you need to. There is much danger if you do not".

Now he had to make a choice, and Theo was not sure he wanted too. It would mean she would leave him, he would never see her again.

His heart was in turmoil, his mind had been for some time now and he felt like there was no one to turn to, to talk to. Save for mother. The idea that him walking through a door only to have this girl vanish from his life was not something Theo wanted, he could come to her for guidance, for comfort in times of stress and great need but deep down he knew she was not real, not alive and bound to this place. Whatever it was. "I don't want to", he whispered as his hand rested against the wooden door on the far right.

A cold hand reached out to him, and caressed his cheek. It felt pure and given to him without condition, he turned to look at her raising his hand to do the same, but all he felt was cold air, nothing solid or soft. Yet she smiled at him and that smile would remain with Theo for the rest of his life, he doubted he would ever see such a smile again. "Go", she said.

The door slowly opened, a hiss of air escaped and chilled him to the bone. There is no light, no sense of anything just yet and using his lightsaber to lead the way, he walked over the threshold and he knew that in that moment, the girl had gone. His heart ached and broke into millions of pieces.

The white light of saber cut the darkness before him, a long tunnel inclined downward like a throat of some beast wanting to swallow him. Now was not the time for going back, that would mean her existence was for nothing, and he would not tolerate that. Theo walked until he discovered a room, only small but in the centre was a pedistal and on top of that sat a box of metal, locked.

He knew the key in his pocket would fit and so he placed it in and turned. It did not give over it's gift immediately, but soon the click echoed through the room and he opened it. Theo drew his lightsaber near to see and inside was small knife encrusted on the hilt with a red gem. For a moment, he looked at it confused as to why this dagger was so important, what had the force wanted him to do with it? He reached up to take but stayed his hand, no it was not his to touch.

Theo quickly closed the box, locked it once more and carried it under his arm. The night was getting old and he needed to return to the Temple, in the morning which clearer mind he would revisit the box. He found his way back into the chamber to find it empty, but he did not want to leave, there was no trace of her and a tear rolled down his cheek. "Good bye", he said to air and hurried back to the speeder.
