Description: Keric Dynt has spent a lot of time on either side of the law. Most recently, however, he has taken up with the Merchant Fleet of the Galactic Alliance, an open secret cabal of smugglers and ne'er do wells that assist the Galactic Alliance with under the table investigations and missions. To help in completing these missions, and to assist in missions within the Rebellion, Keric needed a ship that wasn't as distinctly his as Esperanza, his Nephilim class Hunter Corvette.

Towards the goal of having a ship to help him keep his cover during certain missions, Keric purchased an old YT-1930 Freighter from a junk yard on Jakku. He spent a little while bringing it all the way to operational, then flew it to a shadow port to begin upgrading it. The YT-1930's were out of date, to put it mildly. Keric needed to update it, and customize it to be useful in the missions he was assuming were coming his way. Towards that end, he added in a significantly upgraded weapons suite that includes two quad laser turrets, one top side, and one bottom side, and two plasma railguns, on either side of the cockpit facing forward. This gave his little freighter a much needed punch.

However, in order to stand up in a fight long enough to complete a mission, he needed more than punch. Keric had Kathol Outback engineers design him an ablative armor made of durasteel. It wouldn't protect him in a protracted battle, but it would let him get in and out, and would be relatively cheap to replace. While he was at it, he also upgraded the power systems, and the engines, giving the ship a unique power signature, and a much larger jump radius than the stock freighter enjoyed. The power systems were two fold, solarium glasteel replaced all of the viewports, giving him some protection and a recharge any time he was within sight of solar energy. The second part were redundant batteries from, each one capable of powering all of the systems, this allowed him to stay in a fight, or run away when needed.
