  • Material: Dura-armor, Reflec coating, Durasteel.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION

SPECIAL FEATURES
  • ISR - The Augur-class drone performs superbly in regards to intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance. It boasts a multitude of scanners and sensor packages along with a secure network uplink to forward all data to their respective receptacle.
  • Stealthy - A small, sleek profile and a reflec coating helps hide this little bot from most sensors.
  • Self-Destruct - It possesses a self-destruct mechanism, triggering upon capture to hide the identity of its owner/purpose.
Strengths:
  • [+] ISR: The Augur-class is a top notch surveillance droid. Fielding a heuristic processor to sift through raw data, a gabonna crystal for maximum storage, and a plethora of scanners and sensors, the Augur is the best bot on the market for this work.
  • [+] Stealth: A small, sleek profile and a reflec coating. Very difficult to notice and makes little noise when in operation.
Weaknesses:
  • [-] Unarmed: No armaments or defense measures whatsoever aside from the self-destruct mechanism.
  • [-] Ion/EMP Weaponry: Will instantly fry or short circuit this droid. Inherent droid weaknesses, but they're significant ones.
DESCRIPTION

As Aegis Systems' first step into the intelligence and surveillance market, they desired to make their first impression as good as any. The Augur-class ISR drone is for those with security or subterfuge in mind, and it's intended to be the best one in today's market. Fielding a wide assortment of scanners, sensors, and uplink equipment, Aegis Systems hopes that our product triples the efficiency of any intelligence or surveillance organizations in the galaxy.

The physical profile of the Augur drone is sleek. A thin, circular frame with repulsorlift engines allow the droid to hover very high - easily enough to ascend to most skyscrapers on developed worlds. Sporting a dura-armor frame coated in reflec, the Augur is surprisingly hard to detect through visual and electronic scanners.

First and foremost, as with any Aegis Systems product, the Augur-class sports a heuristic processor. Enabling this droid to learn and think is essential to creating a high performance bot, allowing it to sift through massive amounts of raw data and disseminate information before its sent to its data receptacle. A gabonna memory crystal serves as the primary storage unit, offering more than enough storage to contain audio, visual, and all-source intelligence data.

The primary sensors and scanners are from both the civilian and military markets. All of them allow the Augur-class to receive and decrypt all-source intelligence and mine through the raw data. However, the most prominent feature is the sonic scanner, which allows the drone to pick up radio frequencies or other communications signals and decrypt most common encryption algorithms. Perfect for listening in to corporate opponents, enemy commanders, or the odd snoop. Anti-malicious logic software and a virtual private network link provide the droid with all purpose electronic security as well.

Summarily, the Augur-class ISR Drone is the perfect droid for those with interests in these fields of operations. Small, stealthy, and a wide assortment of sensors and scanners allow it to do what most droids can't do: succeed with maximum efficiency.
