Ember Rekali and the crew of the Coronet, with the assistance of [member="Skye Mertaal"] and a disguised [member="Ordo"], have successfully absconded with Khar'lan/Kharlon, the third 'moon' of the Horde/Yuuzhan Vong Shaper world Echidna. Khar'lan is an observatory and planetary weather control station of staggering pre-Dark Age power, capable of altering a planet's climate alone as part of full-scale terraforming. Relevant detail:

Moon of Hope:
Not long after that Construction of the Khar'lan space station was begun. an observitory and weather control panel all in one. the station the size of a small asteroid was dubbed a moon by the scientists that created it. The name stuck and since then the station has become a signal of hope to the people as the station is the lifeblood to the planets ecosystem.

Starting bid is 1,000,000,000, the price of four or five good Star Destroyers. Only bidding agents of major factions and corporations of Tier 4 and above may bid, unless other bidders can present compelling evidence of access to a billion credits in cash. The winning bidder may submit a Codex Planet Modification Request adding Khar'lan to a planet of their choice, and may choose to attempt to submit it to Starships or Locations. However, as part of Echidna's Planet submission, Khar'lan is already approved, just lacking detail; it already exists.

The station's location is unknown.

The auction will conclude at 7PM EST, 24 November.

Rygel Larraq bid 1.5 billion credits and offered the pledge to put the station to humanitarian uses. Namely, taking a step towards mitigating the damage he did to Dromund Kaas by correcting the weather and pulling the planet from its Ice Age.

The Sith Lord sat in the corner of the auction house, eventually he decided to bid himself; putting in a public bid of 2.0 billion credits.

Then he sent a private message to Rekali.

Adding to the two billion is information about Rasho's murderer and armor that belonged to him.

So word was out that Rasho had been his son. The sphincters were coming out of the woodwork. Ovmar's bid, he would take seriously. Odium was probably just screwing with him.

He made a note to rip Odium's head off to make sure.

Saffron would sit quietly, watching the auction progress. Her senses were ablaze, taking in as much information as she could from each and every bidder -- even Ember Rekali himself.

Such a curious curio, she'd muse, noticing the rise in irritation within the bear of a man.

What could have possibly riled him so?

Ovmar shook his fist in a mock gesture at Odium's retreating form, shook his head and then went back to his datapad.

He was getting addicted to gaming.

Ash looked around. Rekali's heart rate went up after the last two bids. Private messages. Someone was trying to goad the man. He frowned and typed on his datapad.

2.1 billion. Also, one free contract for assistance against whomever is trying to manipulate you right you, except myself. That would be bad for business.

He sent the message and nodded to show the seriousness of his intent. This was an expensive project, but he wanted that moon. It'd solidify and further consolidate his position as the new Vigo by getting Danger on his side--and he needed that. He looked severely at the room. He had nothing on Ovmar. Just a rich mogul who'd been in a lot of wars. Odium, even less data there. Cater was a loose cannon, Larraq was...well, he was rich as hell. These were not people who were easy to rob, and they each had more than enough people to protect their interests. This was his chance, and he needed it.

Ash blinked. OH, fun. Wreck this Odium cat--squid, rather. Hmm, he'd have to use some sun resources. He sent a quick message.

[member="Ember Rekali"]

--agreed. do you wish to question him? Or is a head on a stick sufficient? After all, I'd hate to miss specifics on this. Big job and all.

He smirked. The recalibration of the systems and their movement was assured. He sincerely hoped the Mando was good on his word. After all, if he'd been swindled...well, he'd have to bury a lot of people to fix all that.

Lord Arcis tapped away at his datapad, sending a message to the unknown person who had literally just purchased a moon.

"This doesn't give you legitimate permission to moon anyone, pal."

After the message had been sent, he departed.

Dranok had the attention span of a bathroom towel. These auctions were boring.
