- Alchemy creation increases durability than that of normal durasteel.
- Sith Alchemy: Alchemy is used in the creation of the mask to increase the durability of the Durasteel, and leather to protect his face. Its not nigh-indestructable, but fairly close where it can take a beating or two.
- Even as a Mask, it weighs as much as a full helmet due to the alchemy process. Increasing the weight enough to be a little uncomfortable for those who do not wear it all the time.
- The mask really only protects the face of the wearer. Sure the leather neck piece, and headwrap can protect a little on the sides of the head, but the solid metal is really only covering the face, a small portion of the jaw line, forehead up to the frontal crown, and just a little past the temples. Everything else is "exposed" in some way.
A Mask worn by Demikas and was forged by Nickolas and the proclaimed Atheus to hide his face from the rest of the Galaxy. Considering Demikas does not want others of his past to discover who he is while working, or even having new people have a real grasp of how he looks, he prevents that as a freelancer. He is rarely seen without it. It's even more suspicious due to the inability to mentally attack the man, or feel his emotions with Force Empathy or contact him with Telepathy.
Made out of durasteel for modest protection against most forms of weaponry, it's good for a general mask. While Nick has not been in the Galaxy's light for a little while now, it is unsure of the claims that Nick is actually Demikas' previous mentor, but it is clear that the work done on the Mask is of Sith Alchemy and stands to be something that is quite possible.
