Description: Constructed as a part of the Elysium Complex owned by Brandt-Volcata Industries, the Athena Building is the primary research facility on Lanteeb thought the company also owns a dedicated facility on Riflor, just outside of New Advora for large scale research and development. The laboratories contained beneath and inside of the Athena Building, affectionately called “The Tower” by employees, are primarily technology labs and computer labs, focusing on bringing improvements to small size technology and technical programs.
Equipped with state of the art computer systems and laboratory equipment, this facility is more than well equipped to handle a variety of technology testing and research. Housing a miniature lab in each office suite, the majority of the round shaped building is dedicated to scientist and technologist offices with a small central reception desk in the center of the building. Scattered about the main lobby are modern pieces of furniure, chairs, couches, and even a few reclining chairs. Located at the Elysium Complex, the main hub of Brandt-Volcata Industries, the Athena Building is located just across campus from the administration building, an easy five minute walk or less by hover-scooter.
At the access level of the Athena Building there are two lifts that rise up into the tower and one larger freight elevator that descends below towards the larger and more secure labs. The lift itself travels for about one hundred feet before hitting the first of ten underground levels. At the access level, there is a pair of body scanners which verify identification first by Access Card and then by a retinal scan. These scanners are able to detect any type of technology or electronic devices that pass through the two arches. Technology researched and data is strictly monitored in this location to prevent data bleed or unauthorized removal of technology from the building’s underground labs.
Each of these underground levels contains a plethora of anywhere from ten to fifteen individual laboratories increasing in size and reducing in number as they descend. In addition to the secure personnel freight lift, outside the building contained in a fully secured and guarded structure is a large freight lift that connects to the lower levels of the laboratories to allow easy access/transportation of larger technology to and from the surface.

History: This building, much like the Zeus Building where Headquarters and Administration are housed, is part of the new construction project at the Elysium Facility, the main hub of Brandt-Volcata Industries. Keeping in tune with the modernization of facilities owned by the company, a clean cut and professional aesthetic is maintained by its artistic construction.
Intent: To create a location for technology research for Brandt-Volcata Industries on their Elysium Complex on Lanteeb.
