Born on Shili to a Togrutan Jedi Knight and her Togrutan lover, Atasihd 'Sid' Zi was raised by his father and the members of their pack, his mother having met her end at the hands a Sith, when he was a babe. The first many years of his life solidified his identity as a Togrutan, and the memory of his mother instilled in him from tales gave to him a respect for the Jedi.
As children are wont to do, from time to time, Sid left Shili, and the rest of his family and pack, behind; at first he sought solitude in the jungles of another world until his own Togrutan nature could no longer bear the isolation: it didn't take long. Soon he was seeking out the natives of that world and spending his time amongst them until he felt he needed to move on, and he did, finding his way to other jungled planets - Felucia, Kashyyyk, and Onderon, to name a few, and repeating the process of getting to know the local culture of those that lived in the jungles and adding depth to his growing survivalist ways.
These travels were no leisurely life, for Sid had taken up the way of the bounty hunter early in his post-Shili years, and joined a guild for the best chance of securing contracts and therefore, income; he lived this way for some years. Yet the itch of his maternal inheritance became too great to ignore, when one fateful encounter with a terentatek on Yavin IV and betrayal by his cohorts in the midst of the contract saw his survival being granted solely by the will of the very Force that made him bait for the beast, though he came out of the encounter in critical condition.
It was only due to the remorse felt by one of his cohort that he got off the planet at all, having kept himself anchored to the land of the living with the aid of the Force for long enough to receive help. After months spent healing and recuperation alone, he was saddled with doubt over going back to chasing bounties right away. His thoughts then turned to the Force, and his inheritance…
