Description: A two man Bipedal walker the AT-XT is the Republics answer to the AT-ST. While slightly smaller and not as extensively armed as the AT-ST it is equipped with twin laser cannons mounted under its chin and two long-range proton mortar launchers. Also unlike its larger cousin the AT-XT isn't equipped with heavy armor but rather better defensive technological defenses including a plasma shield capable of absorbing enemy fire for a short period of time and chaff launchers designed to confuse enemy ordinance. Made to be used in packs to take down enemy armor it was capable of demolishing enemy columns by using it's mixture of speed and agility to our flank or overwhelm an enemy.
This unit is now used heavily by recons companies which use them as a HQ vehicle and cavalry companies who use the AT-XT in combination with the other vehicles at its' disposal to round out company capabilities.
