Description:
  • Pro's & Con's:
  • (-/+) One with the Shadows - Due to an almost pure black paint-job along with hints of variation of dark black and gray, this allows the user to hide almost in plain sight without moving in the darkness. Though despite the great camouflage at night in a variety of environments, the downside is that the suit is quite obvious in the daylight with the sun overhead. Kind of like a sore thumb.
  • (-/+)The Lightest of Weight's - The Armor is made out of Terenthium, which is one of the lighter metals that can be used for armor and starships. Though this does come at a great cost. Despite it allowing the user to be swift and agile then most in heavy armor on the battlefield, it makes the user more vulnerable to damage than if they were wearing heavy or medium combat armor.
  • (-/+)Jumpsuits for Days - The armor has a thin jumpsuit underneath made out of both Armorweave and Shell-Spider Silk. The Spider Silk allows the user to have a good resistance to vibro-weapons and other small weapons. The Armorweave is very similar in this fashion. This means that both of these combined into one suit would make it heavily immune to slashes from virbo-weapons and depending upon where the weapon landed, small arms. This also makes the user more adapt to use stealth as the user's body is hugged inwards tightly. Though, these pro's do come with a cost. The jumpsuit is not immune to vibro-sword stabbing into it. It might not budge on the first try, but give it a few or even two hard jabs and it should rip through the jumpsuit, leaving the skin underneath exposed. Now as for ranged weapons. The jumpsuit can resist slugthrower and blaster rounds for awhile. Unless they are from a heavy rifle of sorts or if they are armor-piercing.

  • History
  • Astrid always did have a talent for engineering almost anything she needed. It was one of the many traits she kept from the now deceased "Katelyn Thanewulf." Well, at least it was one of the better traits she had kept from Katelyn.
  • After a month under Darth Vaildra's rule, Astrid came to realize that she would need some type of armor. An armor that could support her lightweight and petite frame whilst still allowing her to be deadly on the battlefield. Though, she did also consider adding some parts to try and seduce some Men & Women alike in bed while also keeping the suit lethal and deadly.
  • Astrid decided to get to work right away. She opened up the holonet and searched it for hours on end, taking inspiration from multiple blueprints of light-weight armors along with medium-weight armors. She then took her inspiration and began to draw up blueprints for it. Once these blueprints were finished she took them to a craftsman for him to check it over. He gave her the all clear along with giving her a 'discount' on some materials since she said she was apart of the Sith. Which in intimidated the craftsman of course.
  • Astrid took some of the craftsman supplies while she got some other supplies from armor she had created two to three months prior to her 'killing' Katelyn Thanewulf and joining Darth Vaildra.
  • Astrid firstly began to make the jumpsuit. A combination of Shell-Spider Silk and Armorweave, making the jumpsuit quite flexible and tight while also allowing Astrid to remain secure and protected while she was wearing the jumpsuit.
  • Astrid did eventually decide to field test it on one separate occasion when her and her master were on a mission to kill an Arkanian Dragon for 'experiments.' The jumpsuit proved a success in the mission all the way up to the point where the dragon attacked her head on, ripping through the jumpsuit with ease and wounding Astrid severely in the process.
  • After the mission, Astrid decided that...she needed to work on the suit some more. Just encase another incident like that happened again
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  • Once the Jumpsuit was finished, Astrid moved on to the helmet and armor plating. Astrid took inspiration from one of her favorite armor designs, the Mandalorian Armor. She studied the plating and spacing of plates in the armor which allowed the Beskar to be stronger than normal due to certain forging methods.
  • After learning of this, Astrid took the armor designs along with metal to the Sith Empire's Blacksmith. She gave him the blueprints and metal along with some written methods on how to make the armor flexible, including a layer of armorweave in the lowest layer and middle layer along with shaping metal parts to where they fit atop one another like puzzle pieces.
  • After a few weeks, the blacksmith called Astrid up...telling her that the armor was finished. Astrid took took the now finished armor plating happily and began to tinker with it, adding in electrical components as she did so along with some extra padding in certain areas. She then began to implement internal blade's in both arm, one per arm. These were concealed in the underside of the metal gauntlets, shielded by a layer of metal. A number of components circled to these in the gauntlets. These specific blades could be extended through the use of either the HUD in the helmet or clenching the fist up deliberately in one hand and pushing the fist inwards. This would press a single small button which would then extend the blades.

Stealth tech requires a dev thread by default, and between your sound dampener and photoreactive system, you've got enough to qualify this as stealthy. Gimme a 10-post thread, alone or with a partner, where you test the stealth systems in the field or something, and the suit's all yours.
