Description:

The Eclipse-class Destroyer was the first line of warships rolled out for the Scythica Empire, provided by Venjuta Industries. The Empire needed to build up it's navy to protect and defend it's assets on their planet, and the warship was created to be the backbone of the navy.

The warship is a heavy hitter with a high defense rating, but it's slow moving and suffers slow mobility, Due to it's lack of movement and speed, it is easily targeted by starfighters, and though it can handle small pockets of fighters it it struggles to fight off more highly concentrated swarms. Since it has low hanger capacity, it must be accompanied by more powerful warships or carriers to aid in its defense against starfighters.

All the special features on the Eclipse-class Destroyer are standard issue, mainly because the warships are massed produced and not intended to be used for long-term engagements. The only feature that is special is the reinforced hull that adds increased protection for the warships.
