Description: This is the kind of weapon you could use if you would only want to attack to the front or the back. Side attacks can be a real issue for the user, so the wrist lightsaber can only be used by someone that is skinny and fast. The usual sword struggle into giving a final blow, as it could turn into a long risky battle. Also, in a battle, the use of force was restrain into a less effectivity while grabbing the hilt of a lightsaber. The fact that you have your hands free, gave the user an advantage over his opponent.

The sensor, that is close to the palm of the hand, makes the lightsaber turn on and off, avoiding any damage to the hand. The common hidden blade has a string that goes from the blade to a ring on the index finger, so that when the owner move his hand to the back, the knife appear. In this case, once the wielder lower his hands down, the sensor will turn off the lightsaber.

How does one not cut their hands/wrists/fingers in half/off when using this? Is there some manner of protection to keep the wielder from accidentally pulling their hands/fingers back into the blade?

The sensor, that is close to the palm of the hand, makes the lightsaber turn on and off, avoiding any damage to the hand. If you want an image, the common hidden blade has a string that goes from the blade to a ring on the index finger, so that when the owner move his hand to the back, the knife appear. In this case, once the wielder lower his hands down, the sensor will turn off the lightsaber.

If you want i can describe this more in the special features
