Assassin on Iridonia

[SIZE=8pt]Vinyata slowly traversed the rocky arid gray landscape of Iridonia. Iridonia was known for its massive canyons, plateaus and rocky terrain that could wear out any explorer, but Vinyata was not any explorer, she was a Sith Assassin, built for endurance and speed, she kept forging on over the rocky landscape. Currently Vinyata was in the Cerg canyon of one of Iridonia’s many unpopulated regions. Her speeder had broke down at the bottom of the canyon, leaving her to walk up the 1000ft incline that lead to another 1000ft vertical cliff she would have to climb out of to escape the canyon. Sighing, she grabbed onto the nearest cracks and ledges and using her superior climbing skill, began the slow descent up the cliff. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=8pt]Vinyata grunted as she pulled herself up over the ledge of the cliff, standing up to gaze onto the vast deceptively beautiful landscape. Massive plateaus and rock formations dotted the landscape, as well as many cliffs and overhangs, peaks and valleys. Flowing red acid rivers, waterfalls, and pools radiated contrasted to the gray rocks. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=8pt]She pulled out her high-powered monoculars. Her mission was to assassinate an important Republic Senator that had negotiated the release of several Sith Worlds into the hands of the Republic. The Sith Empire was crumbling, and lacked the resources to punish the delinquent worlds, killing the diplomt that had fled to Iridonia would have to do. Placing the monoculars over her eyes, she scanned the countryside for any signs of the diplomat. Catching sight of a tent-like structure, she zoomed in and could make out two figures moving about their make-shift camp. Vinyata took out her datapad, and it confirmed that the diplomat she was assigned to kill was indeed the man she saw. Who is the other person? Vinyata thought. Her datapad pulled up a file on the person accompanying the diplomant. Xander Carrick Vinyata read from her datapad, skilled lightsaber combatant, talented Jedi Padawan, had proved himself apt in lightsaber duels, on more than one occasion defeating powerful Sith. So they brought him to be his bodyguard, interesting. This task would be more difficult than expected. Activating her force cloack, she began the mile-long treck toward her advisaries. [/SIZE]

Taking a hold of the tent door I walked in. Dressed in my Medical Trooper armor, without the helm. I was here as a lone bodyguard against anyone who was trying to bring harm to the Senator of the Republic. Seeing as how the Republic and the Fel Imperium had done some work in the past, We were helping eachother, and were inclined to possibly work further. The woman Senator of some planet that I could really care less for, motioned for me to sit down. As I did so she shook her head.

"Do you have to wear that armor all the time Mr. Carrick? Isn't it rather cumbersome?"
Shaking my head, "No, not really, and as a guard, I need to be ready for anything should it happen."
"Well, would you at least relax then?"
"Ma'am with all due respect, If you were to get hurt, it would be considered my fault. And as I said before, I need to be ready for anything."
"Fine, Fel Imperium seems to train you well then?"
I smiled and shook my head as she was another person trying to get me to join the Jedi.
"Yes, well enough to take on Jedi and Sith should the need arise."

She stayed silent after I said Jedi and sith as though they were an enemy to me. Really I loved the Jedi. I wanted to be one as a child, but when I got there, all the little glories as a Jedi faded because I saw how all they did was meditate and talk about theories. I joined the Fel Imperium soon after because they saw the force as a tool, not a side. and that made my entire outlook on the force change. For better or for worse? I could only tell you years from now.
