---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES :

+ Weapons Handling
Arrya has spent many hours practicing and using a wide range of blaster pistols and rifles. In addition to being proficient in their use, she finds it easy to learn new weapons systems.

+ Piloting
She has also spent a long time in space and in the pilot's seat of the "Atlas". Through both training given to her by Denn (Her teacher, father figure) and her own experience she has become very good at piloting spacecraft.

+ Hand to Hand combat/compliance
Due to her chosen profession she has learned and practiced numerous techniques and fighting styles to both defend herself and accost others. Through training with Denn and her work she has gained valuable experience in weaponless fighting.

+/- Does not like to kill.
Arrya has an aversion to killing when not necessary and will do everything she can to not kill. This can be a strength as it allows her to explore other options but can also be a weakness when she is faced with tough decisions which might require killing. She has yet to actually kill and is unsure of what will happen when she is forced to make that decision.

+/- Empathetic
Arrya feels emotions deeply, this allows her to empathize easily but is also a danger. Emotions can sometimes get the better of her, causing her to act erratically or recklessly, especially when it involves children. It also means that she is liable to become more easily invested in situations it may be better to stay out of.

- Recklessness
Arrya can be reckless at times. Due in part to Denn's death, she takes chances that she might not normally make. Denn had taught her to be careful, meticulous, and patient but since his death she has struck out and become less careful, she thinks that maybe Denn would have done something different that could have saved himself.

- Bored Easily/ Wanderlust
She is easily bored and is constantly looking for something new, something to keep herself busy. It's partially why she travels so frequently. Ever since Denn's death, she doesn't like to stay in one place for any significant amount of time. Doing so would prevent her from finding the true killer of Denn.

- Obsessessive
Arrya is obsessed with Denn's death and has never stopped looking for his killer. In every shadow there's a clue as to who the real killer was. She keeps meticulous records of her search, even documenting clues and keeping them in a hidden place so she can revisit them and try to glean more information from them. If she thinks a clue is within her grasp she will go to almost any length to acquire it, even if it's reckless.

APPEARANCE:
Arrya stands about 5’ 9’’. She keeps herself in good physical condition as her chosen career path necessitates, her lithe form hardy and toned. Her blue skin is a light hue, her twin lekku are lightly striped, a faint pattern visible on closer inspection. He lekku are wrapped at the base with a headband, sometimes leather, sometimes a metallic band. Instead of typical human ears she has cones, common among her species.

Weapons:
Arrya has a small arsenal aboard the ship, various weapons for different purposes. Her most commonly carried and preferred weapon is listed below.

- DE-10 Clones
> Arrya wears a pair of these strapped to her thighs. These are modeled after the DE-10 of the Rebellion era and contain modifications that include an increased capacity charge as well as a small recharger allowing the pistol to recharge itself at a rate of one round per 3 seconds.

BIOGRAPHY:

Arrya Volan was born a small and insignificant child. From an early age she had worked as a slave on a luxury yacht owned by a lucrative illegal goods merchant. She remembers little from her childhood and much of it was spent as a servant, performing menial tasks. Arrya does not have any memories of her parents, all she has to remind herself that she had them is a small holochip which when activated displays a photo of her parents holding her as an infant. It so happened that this particular goods merchant had invited a group of tradesmen for a venture he was making and was in need of their services. It was then that her lot in life had changed.

A Bounty Hunter by the name of Denn Ralto had been called to the yacht, presumably at the whim of the Yacht's owner. She saw an opportunity. During their meeting she secretly made her way down to the hangar bay of the yacht, managing to sneak her way aboard the bounty hunter's ship. Stowed away in a small cargo hold, she waited patiently for the hum of the engines to signal that they were away. She waited for a few hours before she heard loud hydraulic hiss. Moments later the engines roared to life and she felt the deck of the ship shift, and then nothing!

She held her hand over her mouth to keep from shouting with joy. She knew she would have to be very quiet, the last thing she wanted to do was get caught trying to escape, she's seen what happened to slaves who tried to run. She fell asleep inside the small empty cargo container she had chosen for her hiding place, the hum of the engines lulling her into a depth of sleep she'd not had in a long time.

Arrya was awoken abruptly as the container lid was removed, a man's shout rousing her from her slumber. Denn and Arrya stared at each other for a silent few seconds before he let out another shout and she let loose a high pitched scream.

After several tense moments of shouting and screaming Denn took a seat on the floor, resting his head in his hands, a nervous sigh escaping his lips. It had been a full day since he had left the luxury yacht, surely they knew by now. He weighed the options. On the one hand, he could plot a course back to the yacht. Attempt to meet with the merchant and explain that he had found her stowed away on his ship. On the other hand, he was already behind schedule on his delivery contract and plotting a course back would delay him further, and that was if the merchant hadn't given a shoot on sight order.

He looked at the girl, she must have been no older than 12 or 13. His mind wandered for a moment, to a different time.. a different place. Several minutes passed as he seemed to be experiencing memories once locked away. Arrya watched him silently, afraid of what she knew was going to happen. She could tell, he would turn around and turn her back in and what would happen to her then...

A grunt from the man broke her concentration. He spoke in a gruff voice.

"Well, come up out of there then. It's not going to do us much good to sit here looking at each other. My name is Denn, what's yours?"

She hesitantly climbed out of the cargo container, eyeing the man carefully.

"My name... is Arrya."

The man grunted and spoke once more.

"Well, I can't take you back, they're gonna think I helped you escape. Might as well get comfortable then. I've got some things I need to do, and then we'll figure out what to do with you."

Denn showed her to the living quarters and locked the door as he continued to the cockpit. What was he getting himself into? He fought with himself back and forth trying to make up his mind about what to do with the girl.

Truthfully Denn would later admit upon his deathbed that Arrya reminded him of the daughter he would never see again, and it was that which caused him to refrain from turning around and returning her to the yacht.

Denn raised her as his own, providing what luxuries he could. He never spoiled her, and when she was old enough he began to make trips to various planets, teaching her how to track a person, how to survive in the wilderness, how to use a blaster. As she grew older she began to understand, he was teaching her how to take over for him… He was teaching her his trade. Over time he began to teach her about the ship, how to pilot it and how to use the weapons systems. It didn’t take long before she began asking to go along with him. At first he resisted, saying that she wasn’t ready but that didn’t last long. Arrya helped on many of his contracts, always retrieval and delivery, never outright killing. He made sure he explained to her that they were not assassins, simply… acquisition specialists. They worked this way, side by side for several years.

During one of their contracts Denn was hit by a particularly nasty weapon as they were escaping after a particularly difficult extraction, a poisoned dart. When it happened Arrya had thought it was just a projectile weapon and had cleaned the wound and bandaged it once they were in the clear. When his condition hadn’t improved after they’d made their delivery she began to get suspicious. By the time they had reached a nearby medical facility a few days later, the poison had spread into Denn’s bloodstream. It was on his deathbed that he had finally explained why it was that he had ‘rescued’ her from the merchant’s yacht. She stayed with him for two days before his body gave out. It was a silent affair and it left her feeling numb. The man who’d raised her had died… she wasn’t naïve enough to think he would never go but… not like that. After Denn's death, she vowed to find the killer. They were able to recover the projectile from Denn's body and Arrya had taken it.

Four years have passed since his death. Arrya has been passing from system to system taking on primarily courier jobs, small amounts of cargo and the occasional smuggling job. She hasn’t taken any further bounties since Denn’s passing. She has been able to keep their ship, the “Atlas” functioning so far but she never was a great mechanic. Weapons systems and communications systems sure, but engines were just a guess beyond basic upkeep. She now finds herself in search of parts to repair her damaged torpedo launchers. In addition, she has begun to worry about the engines on her ship, she presses them hard and has noticed a significant drop in power.

SHIP:
1 MRX-BR ‘Pacifier’ dubbed “The Atlas”. Its hull is a uniform gray with some painted bronze trimmings. On the hull near the engines carbon has built up over time and has created a thick charred substance on the surface. The ship’s weapons systems have been slaved to a targeting computer and are for the most part, automated. The torpedo launchers are currently offline due to a few missing parts. Its sensor array is very well maintained, so precise that you might even be able to count the leaves on a tree, from orbit.

The ship’s engines are that of typical Starfighters, granting the slightly larger ship maneuverability nearly on par with most ships in that class. The engine room is cluttered, some panels hanging open, others non-existent leaving some cabling and wiring hanging about. Immediately upon entering the engine room there is a small workbench along one wall containing various tools and pieces of hardware. Some modifications have been made to the existing floorplan, the port side amenities such as the autochef and hygiene area have been relocated to the starboard side in conjunction with the crew bunks. On the port side, some holding cells have been installed as well as a storage space below the deck floor. Most everything on the interior of the ship is retractable or storable in some way and is very utilitarian in nature, the Engine room is the only exception to this rule.
