Arrival (Movie)

So I just stumbled on this trailer for this movie, and I was immediately super excited for it. Generally anything having to do with the discovery of aliens (both fiction and non-fiction) as well as linguistics get me excited. So this movie ticked two boxes that made me want to share this with people. I don't normally plan on seeing movies the day they release but this single trailer convinced me enough.

Yeah, this sucker looks brilliant. I'm flashing back to Cosmos, Spielberg, and the original Stargate in all the best ways. Also some Robert J. Sawyer novels.

I have been super hyped for this movie ever since watching the trailer a little while ago. It has what I think will be an awesome cast, plus has a really great short story as it's source material!
