APPEARANCE:
As expected from a wookie Arri is very tall and furry. Most of the time the hair on her head is kept out and loose, while sometimes she may braid a few strands. Her only real clothing is cloth tunic she wears around her body.
BIOGRAPHY:
Arrikabuuk was born on the wookie home world of Kashyyk, where her force abilities did not reveal themselves for a long time. During that time, like most female wookies, she was taught how to do menial things like cooking and housekeeping for the eventual time she would be taken by a husband.
During that time Arri was reluctant on the idea, feeling she had some greater purpose. That was when she began to fiddle with her father’s hunting gear, trying to make herself into a skilled warrior like him. He caught her and forbade it, and during the argument Arri’s force sensitivity finally showed itself when she knocked things over with her mind out of anger.
After calming down and realizing what this meant for her Arri’s family agreed it was best she be sent to be with the Jedi to train, fulfilling her secret wish to go beyond Kashyyk. She left, on her way to the Jedi Temple, before her shuttle was attacked by slavers. She was unfortunately captured and put into chains along with the others taken.
For a week Arri remained in a cage until being brought to Nar Shadda. There she was auctioned off as a slave and eventually bought by a rodian gang leader, who thought it would be grand to have her as “muscle and maid”. Despite her refusals Arri was forced to obey, forced to serve the leader’s needs.
In time Arri had finally found opportunity. Using her powers in the force she was able to snatch the keys to her chains off one of the men before using persuasion to have him take her to a ship; her early stages of the Jedi mind trick at work. After reaching the ship she managed to escape, the rodian angered at his loss.
Arri managed to take the ship all the way to where the Jedi were, now able to fully begin her training in the ways of the Force.
