STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:

[+] Good Genetics:
genetic immunity to Force-assisted mental tricks, influence, domination and mind reading.

[+] Salvager's Skillset:
Scraping for a living means being versitile, a Merchant/Pilot/Mechanic all rolled into one. While far from being an expert mechanic or pilot Aro is known for being a bit above average, as well as being a compentent trader.

[+] Machines Love Me:
There is often talk of people who have a "gift with machines" or "the touch" whatever it is when they appear machines around them seem to work better, broken systems become functional, Droids seem to recognize Aro as a compatent mechanic, either from his demenor or the tools he carries, something about Aro impresses droids to a point that makes neutral droids trust him implicitly and friendly droids more willing to carry out difficult tasks.
-boosts the mechanic's efficency, finds problems quicker and is generally able to resolve them quickly or in a timely fashion.
- does not mean that enemy droids programed to patrol or protect will ignore his presense but they will compute nice subroutines while shooting at him sometimes causing a miss


[+/-] Imperfect Polygot:
Several languages are used to communicate in the outer rim and Aro has learned to be fluent in Huttese, Bocce, and Durese in addition to his native language Epicant.
-Aro understands fundamental galatic basic standard, but it is not easy for him to communicate with complex sentences. This sometimes gives the impression that Aro is slow or simple minded to people who only speak Gal Standard.

Aro prefers to speak in Huttese when possible, and Bocce when in polite company.

[-/+] Man with a plan:
Aro has a plan for his life and wants to complete it by the time he turns 80. He will do whatever he can to advance his goals and will potentially end friendships and alliances to achieve it. Citing the ancient addage "the ends will justify the means". While this doesn't neccessarly mean it will be difficult to get along with others, it does mean that if Aro feels someone is obstructing his progress that he will do what is neccesary to resolve the problem.


[-] Its just business:
when making deals or carrying out contracts Aro doesn't often assign emotional value to the consiquences of his actions. While this general apathy is useful in making Aro an effective tradesman, this also has the effect of making others who have stronger moral compasses uncomfortable around him during such events. Aro will respect others with the same mindset more readily.
- while this general apathy extends to weaponry and drugs it does not cover weapons of mass destruction such as population or planet destroying weaponry. Not because of the lives lost, but due to ease of tracking down whoever made that deal in the first place.

[-] An Offer He Can't Refuse:
-Usually aware of things that are "to good to be true" Aro has a tendancy to throw caution to the wind in favor of a potentially good deal. While not lured in by promises of mountians of credits or pristine salvage, any semi-reasonable deal that aligns with his goals is something he cannot resist even dispite large risks.

[-] Racial Recognition:
Similar in appearance to baseline humans the Epicanthix race is easy to notice as "non human" due to racial features.

APPEARANCE:
Like every other Epicanthix, Aro Nix is 2 meters tall and has brown eyes and black hair
looks more gaunt than thin like he doesn't eat enough or get enough sleep.
Long fingered, rough hewn hands, more wiry strength than bulk muscles.
Wears darker materials to better blend into the background
General outfit consists of Armored Space Suit with webbing attached, many pockets for tools and for hiding various other things
Wears a hip Holster with blaster pistol, will sometimes carry a blaster rifle if things seem more dangerous. Wears a knife strapped on his leg.

Grew up on Panatha

Once of age left home to work as Salvage Runner

distinguished himself through hard work and good finds

Won first pick rights to large salvage he discovered
large salvage was damaged ships from old space battle

- gutted transport ships
- burned out starfighters
-ect.

large salvage included several currently restricted goods

traded restricted goods to ship junk yard owned by Hutt in exchange for parts

fixed up some droids and a derelict Consular Class Cruiser with parts and large salvage items

working with hutts started smuggling with new ship when between salvage oppoturnites


PERSONALITY:
Quiet unless talking about something that interests him
"Where's the profit" aditiude - not cold hearted but takes more than a sob story to move him to assisting others, usually credits work
Perfers Droid Company
when doing business likes to impress in order to secure trade advantage
makes friends slowly, has hard time trusting non-salvagers
annoyed easily with people who underestimate him, keeps anger about it in check knowing it's good for trade negotiations

Modified Consular Class Cruiser

Components:

- Salvaged Class 2 Hyperdrive Installed
- Repaired Class 6 Hyperdrive Backup Installed (may malfunction)
- Repaired Salon Pod:
Converted to hanger space barely accomadates 2 Depowered Vulture Droid Starfighters,
a V-wing starfighter, and Buzz Droid Repair crews.
- Retrofited Pilot Droid - capable of handling the craft with basic manuvers such as landing and
meeting at locations. However, more advanced tatics are beyond its current capacity [need upgrades/replace]
- Juri-rigged Targeting Computer - a salvaged droid brain, useful for pointing the turbo lasers at one target
but multi-targeting is beyond its current capacity [Needs upgrades / replacement]
- Damaged Droid Control System:
after gutting half of the upper deck state rooms for a repair bay Aro installed a damaged
droid control system in part of them. Requires signifigant parts to repair fully.
- Secondary Transponder:
changes the name of the ship to "Chut Chut" (huttese insult meaning "Nevermind")

4x turbo lasers
2x Concussion missle launchers

-repaired from parts of large salvage's cargo
-engines upgraded with backup repulsor systems
-lack droid operating systems, can be piloted remotely via Consular Cruiser - vunerable to jamming -
requires skilled starfighter pilots or Droid Control system
