DESCRIPTION
As her primary interest in the field is purely selfish, scholarly pursuits and sharing her findings are left far behind in the dust. The only reason Yidhra even takes on commissions is quite simple – financial independence from the Sith Empire is important when she conducts so many of her experiments in secret. She bows her head before the Dark Lord, if only in name – a Pureblood would never truly take a knee for a humanoid.
The Sorceress of Athiss is possessed of a vast wealth of knowledge and skill – not to mention innate talent that is as much her birthright as it is privilege. She has little qualms selling creations that were once solely in the purview of the Resurgent Empire, and fewer still crafting new horrors – all for the right price, of course.
And it doesn’t always come in credits.
RATIONALE
Even when she still served the Resurgent Empire, the Sorceress of Athiss had been one of the foremost Kissai leading the efforts of the Sith. When many of her rivals perished in the civil war that followed the Empire’s collapse, Yidhra shed no tears – instead, like any self-respecting Pureblood, she capitalized on the situation. After the smoke cleared and castles crumbled into red ruins, the alchemist expanded her influence over Athiss and established herself among the few remaining who had the strength to oppose her. Now free of the yoke that would direct her power, Yidhra took her experiments and research wherever she willed, at once drawing from millennia-old traditions and breaking the mold.
