Strengths
Intuitive- Many long years of being forced to learn things the hard way have taught Arlan to trust his gut above all else. Keen insight, whether from prior knowledge or simple feeling, into his endeavors force a heavy reliance of old fashioned intuition for Arlan.
Resilient- Soldiering of any kind is always accompanied by a certain amount of strain. Those that cannot endure it break, but those that do grow all the stronger for it. So too is the latter the case for Arlan, having been a soldier all his life.
Courageous- Flight in the face of danger is an option rarely considered by Arlan, whom would rather face his foes than flee them. The innate courage one must posses to face all possibilities the galaxy offers, even that of death, resonates deep within Alan.
Strong Willed- The will to push onward despite the odds is so simple a concept that it's true rarity is often overlooked. Many claim to posses it, yet few truly do. Arlan is one such man whom does in all good truth contain a remarkable will to persevere.
Weaknesses
Prideful- An all consuming facet of his person, Arlan possesses a deeply prideful soul. His legacy is a driving force in his life and the insult thereof is an unforgivable transgression. For while intuition may well guide his action, his pride demands them.
Tactless- While his path has led him to the upper echelon of galactic dealings at times, Arlan holds no bearing for diplomacy of any kind. His words are direct, harsh, and unforgiving, leaving little room for court etiquette. This has on many occasions hurt his political and business dealings.
Ruthless- Not to be misunderstood as evil, Arlan does posses a ruthless nature. It is a part of him rarely seen, but when all things come to a boil he is eagerly willing to sacrifice all and any to further his own ambitions.
Tormented- Visions of past horrors dance within his dreams, and lurk within his mind during waking hours. Cold sweat and waking screams are a common nighttime event for Arlan, depriving him of sleep and causing his harrowing thoughts to persist during the day.
Abilities
Pilot- Arlan was a pilot far longer than he was a commander and the skills he honed over the years still permeates deep within him. While not the best pilot in the galaxy by far, certainly he is one of note.
Soldier- Though his training came haphazardly through the years over various commissions, Arlan is indeed a soldier. Body trained and mind drilled until fighting became second nature, whether it be with blaster or blade.
Commander- Arlan is a commander of men, and has been for a time now. He knows full well how to direct those that follow him to the best of their abilities, with deadly proficiency.

Through his years Arlan Zy'rosh has proven that he is, above all else, a man of action. Believing that the niceties of rhetoric are an unnecessary factor in too much of the Galaxy as it is today, Arlan judges himself and others by accomplishments alone. This brazen lack of civility brings forth ill light unto Arlan, making many that know him see a cruel and harsh man whom cares little for his fellow men. This, however; is an untrue fact. For it is a deep caring for those to whom he has bonded that drives him forth so tirelessly.
APPEARANCE
Arlan appears roughly the same as many other Corellian men do, save of course for individual characteristics. Lightly browned hair, hazel eyes, lightly tanned skin, standard for many of his kin. What puts him apart from others is not so much looks, but innate mannerism of a physical nature. His eyes deep and brooding, carrying a great weight behind them. The gait in his step, weaving a tale of grief and struggle. When one looks upon the man Arlan is one does not see a simple Corellian, but a man apart from the norm by leagues of degree.
