ARISE
Nelvaan | Sith Compound | Hangar

Imperius hunted Sith and Jedi equally when he could, it was a return to the days of victory and glory when the Empire he served ruled the stars, when his Emperor had rewarded him not only with immortality but also the opportunity to understand duty and valor. It was easy back then, a time of myth and legend now, even forgotten by many. When they brought down the all-enduring Galactic Republic and the ever-martial Sith Empire within less than a year. When they destroyed their fleets and imposed treaties of compliance that would see them crippled for decades to come.

But as all things powerful, it was not to last. The Force sent its minions, triumphing in its perpetual desire to establish balance. Neither Light nor Dark sider understood that it was not their time, ever, as long as they served the corruption they helped spreading. So it was a natural reaction to hunt down those that dared to leave the protection of their homes and realms. This Sith seemed to be nothing particularly special, running arenas through shadowy networks and dealing in slaves and cheap artifacts. Powerful enough to enslave common people, but not to sit at the table of grand games.

Nelvaan was remote choice, its icy climate and martial history proven a challenging ground. Imperius knew the world and what it spawned well, having fought alongside them and their ideals for decades. Now he had tracked the lair of the Sith Lord here, a facility in the mountains, wind-swept, covered by snow. It mattered little. They certainly did not expect a visit. Or assault. The Lord Indomitus landed with three Scourge-class shuttles into the hangar, having overridden its security and now unleashing a tide of black-armored Indomitus Knights into the compound to cleanse it. Blasters fired from behind shields, blades were drawn as the warriors of his Legion attacked the Sith defenders.

Imperius himself marched among his men, the blaster spitting death towards the enemies while his blade was drawn, waiting to execute the corruption that had spread from here for too long.

Drio'Vix Bacho stood in the lower barracks, surrounded by silence thick enough to choke on. The walls of the mountain facility groaned against the howling winds outside. A crackle flared in the ceiling comms. His master's voice cut through, as commanding as ever. "We have guests. Find out who dares land upon this fortress. Kill them."

Drio turned toward the exit of the chamber. Red emergency lighting turning on as security systems went into effect. With many other slaves and acolytes strung about all moving into combat positions. It was a fortress of pain and sorrow with one dominating oversee who commanded them all. Mind snapping into blooded focus, he began to slowly jog as the incoming sound of blaster fire grew louder and louder.

A junior acolyte further down the hall turned to look at him before crumbling under blaster fire. A black armored knight walked over his body and delivered the killing blow with his sword while another peaked the corner and began to shoot at Drio. Using his large frame, knowledge of the facility and amplifying himself in the force he burst through the wall to his side. Landing in a room that was only through a thin wall from the hallway.

He had to displace. Although a brute he had seen enough combat to understand the amount of blaster fire coming from the hanger was overwhelming, even for him.

With a chugging gurgle of noise his crimson blade ignited. Naturally tall - Drio was able to cut into the ceiling without jumping. Opening a way for him to leap upward and move to perch himself above some unsuspecting prey. Here, he could see better who was coming. Why they might be here.
