Aria Perugia was the only child of Darla and Franklin Perugia, a rich family from Courascant. From what information had been gathered and cross-referenced Aria herself received the best education credits could buy. Mainly home schooled being engaged in side-studies, including dancing, self-defense, dancing, fencing, and cooking.

During her childhood Aria tended to act out or sneak away from her home in order to hang out with friends outside her family’s social groups; apparently she finding them boring at times. What she did not know was that one of these friends, who wooed her while knowing her, was a member of a Hutt gang. Learning of her rich heritage he informed his leader, who in-turn had pulled the right strings to blackmail the Perugias into paying him for “protection fees”.
When Aria realized it was her fault she tried everything she could to break her family away from this endeavor. Where she tried to gain information to give to the authorities, she instead found herself caught by the Hutt’s men. While Aria was able to escape the gang leader took out his aggression on her parents, killing them and gaining the remainder of the fortune for himself.
For over five years Aria was neither seen nor heard from.

One day, however, the Hutt gang’s entire black book of money laundering and operations was dropped off to the authorities. And this was after the leader’s main ship was stolen, one which he himself bought from an ex-Imperial leader, along with all of his credits. The only message left with this information was the same note left to the gang leader after he was taken into custody.

Through the underworld and beyond the name Aria Perugia became both famous and infamous. She became a ‘criminal of fortune’ type, often stealing for the fun or for the sake of taking from criminals. She’s never been caught and proven to outsmart many who’ve tried to catch her. Some have claimed she’s been in three different parts of the galaxy at once while others claim to be related to her. Some see her as a criminal while others a hero.

She continues her little crusade with the aid of her hired men known as “Aria’s Boys”, evading capture and apparently enjoying the “thrill of the theft”.
