Hypothetical User of the Argus Clusterkark Remote Controller Sniper System

Intent: To create a long range system for Triam Akovin (or customers desiring said system) that is effective against multiple targets while still maintaining a level of obscurity. Companion submission to the Argus Clusterkark Remote Controller Sniper System - Remotes
Development Thread: If absolutely required
Manufacturer: Akovin Stock Co.
Model: Argus Clusterkark Remote Controller Sniper System: Scope Sights
Affiliation: Buyers of Akovin Stock Co.
Modularity: No modularity for the sniper scope
Production: Limited to Akovin Stock Co. Buyers on request
Material: Durasteel components, visual transceiver, other unremarkable materials.
Description: The Argus Clusterkark Remote Controller Sniper System was spawned in Triam Akovin's personal ship using stolen materials from Roche and other places across the galaxy, and her own technical know how with Droid remotes. After heavily modifying the droid remotes in order to turn them into mobile surveillance cameras (among other features), that can send that visual information to a transceiver located within the sniper rifle scope attachment. This sniper rifle scope is capable of connecting to the users personal HUD, with a view of all eight in total droid remotes, with the actual sniper sight being placed dead center of a three by three grid of the visual information. The Scope often overlaps a sniper rifle with a variety of controls that allows the user to control a selected remote's movements, and other features. The main purpose of this system, is to allow a sniper the ability to find otherwise inaccessible targets, with the chance to eliminate them through other means besides their sniper rifle, in utilizing droid remote control via the Scope Sights of the system. The key weakness inherent in the design, is that the sniper is now distracted by eight visuals that now render them blind at their peripheries until the visuals are disengaged. Additionally, the scope adds a considerable amount of weight upon a sniper rifle, possibly degrading its accuracy marginally.

Intent: To create a unique manner in which a sniper may get up close surveillance of the intended target's, and assail targets ordinarily inaccessible with a sniper rifle through the use of small arms located on remotes

Affiliation: Buyers of Akovin Stock Co.
Modularity: Limited Modularity, can be fitted with mining lasers, rigged to explode, etc. Additional weapons not a possibility.
Production: Limited to buyers of Akovin Stock Co.
Material: Durasteel components, other unremarkable materials.
Classification: Fourth Degree
Weight: 3 Kilograms
Height: 0.5 meters (Diameter)
Movement: Repulsorlift
Armaments: Light Blaster (Ammo capacity of 1 lethal shot, and 4 stun shots, or only 6 stun shots)
Misc. Equipment: Sensors, scanners, visual data transmitter
Description: When Triam Akovin became a hermit, she began to amass a lot of junk. Most of this junk, were droid remotes she used to increase her marksmanship, and also to see how capable she was at her tinkering. With more than twenty remotes at her disposal, some of different types, she was able to crack them open, gut them of their base components and rearrange said components in order to fit new modules. Most recently, she had gutted eight remotes upon the conceiving of her idea, and placed inside it a means of increasing the output of the lightblaster in the seeker droid to fire one lethal shot, at the sake of ammo capacity, as well to conserve space for additional modules. One such module was fairly small, a simple transmitter geared towards receiving and then sending visual data of its surroundings to a transceiving module at an effective distance of 1750 meters. There was some basic programming that allowed it to be auto piloted when not in manual control, being capable of autonomously recognizing movement within visual range in order to avoid flying past a living creature (meaning a living creature that is still is likely to go unnoticed on autopilot). It will not fire however without command, unless movement is detected within half a meter of the remote, where it will fire a stun shot and go through an automated course away from the region where the movement was located. At any point, The Argus Clusterkark Sniper Sight user is capable of manually overriding the flight and blaster functions of the remote, in order to carry out its intended functions without the weaknesses present in the automated remote functions.

Unshielded, these remotes are intended to be fairly cheap extra guns that can be operated at a great distance, in concert with other remotes of its kind, under the watchful eye of a sniper controller, and are not meant to actually replace the sniper's rifle fire. One of the primary functions of the remotes other than being extra blaster shots at previously unreachable angles, is to be simple reconnaissance droids, finding enemies hiding in areas one would otherwise never find out. Due to their small size and high mobility, they are difficult to discover, but in order for them to be effective these remotes must travel to their location, and they are not entirely silent due to their repulsorlifts. Also, as mentioned earlier, they have no shields or any armoring, if shot they will instantly be destroyed.

Some edits were made, such as refining the tech submission to merely being a scope attachment that connects over a sniper rifle, and separated the droid component from the main submission.
