Manufacturer: Abregado-Rae Guild of Hammers
Model: Neuranium Pellets, Shattergun Ammunition
Affiliation: HK-36, [member="Six-O"]
Modularity: None, one size and shape of the pellets
Production: Semi-Unique (Steady renewable supply for HK only)

Material: Entirely Neuranium

Strengths: Increased Penetration- due to the immense density of Neuranium, these pellets are much heavier than standard shattergun ammunition while being launched at the same speed as normal shattergun pellets, which means they hit with much greater kinetic force. As such the weapon that uses these pellets receives a bonus against dealing with heavier armor class it is effective against, weapons that could easily punch through medium armor classes can now punch through heavy armor, those that could easily damage light armor can now do so against medium armor. Same applies to the vehicles, if a weapon was effective against medium vehicles, it could be used to assault the armor of heavy vehicles.

Effective Against Phrik and Beskar- due to the increased force behind each shot these projectiles make weapons effective against armor made of rare materials, Phrik and Beskar especially, the purpose of its creation was to combat extensive use of these types of suits on the battlefield. Shatterguns made by Abregado were known to already have the ability to horribly bent and warp Phrik plating with a single shot, using these projectiles weapons have increased effectiveness and chance to penetrate most Phrik and Beskar suits in a single shot of medium armor rating. Heavy armors outside of that range could still be potentially damaged but it would take more than a single shot to do so. This penetration also depends on the armor's design, if a suit was specifically made to handle physical punishment and reinforced against kinetic damage then penetrating it would be more difficult than standard armor design.

Lightsaber Resistant- Neuranium is a material with a degree of lightsaber resistance, this proper is still utilized by the pellets, making blocking them much more awkward as they tend to push through the lightsaber's energy blade and into the user behind it. However, the magnetic containment field of the blade's plasmatic core still affects these bullets and their trajectory is changed upon contact with it, not to the point of it being deflected but enough to make dodging them easier, because of the kinetic energy these pellets carry they struck the lightsaber with immense force, possibly pushing it aside in the process from contact if not completely ripping out the weapon from its user's hands.

Weaknesses: Limited Availability- due to the ammunition's effect on Phrik and Beskar armor, as well as the greatly increased damage output it produces, the availability of this ammunition is restricted to prevent it from being distributed to elements that may turn against Abregado or make it available to the public and political enemies of the GA. As such, only proven loyal soldiers are granted access to the ammunition, restricting it only to special agents and commanders, currently only HK himself and Six-O have access to it.

Slow, Expensive Production- because Neuranium is a material difficult to produce properly, production of this ammunition is much slower and expensive when compared to standard durasteel shattergun pellets. As such only few soldiers are approved for using this ammunition in combat, so far it only extends to HK and Six-O.

Heavy- since the pellets are made out of much denser material than durasteel, they weigh much more that standard bullets, as such every magazine of these bullets adds another kilogram to the weapon's weight, making it a burden to carry more than one of them.

Gravitational Anomaly- Because to the Neuranium's extreme density nature, the bullets literally form miniature gravitational anomalies that could be detected by species or scanners sensitive to such things, giving the user's position away. It is possible for this to affect the projectile's accuracy, this depends on the power of the shattergun that fires the projectile and the strength of gravitational field of the planet where the action takes place.

Requires Magnets- the bullets were designed to be used with shatterguns, which are magnet-based weapons, as such these bullets can be only used in weapons that utilize magnets with capability of using their caliber pellets, most likely through the use of a multicaliber magazine and bore, meaning they would be useless in normal firearms or those designed for a specific caliber of pellets.

Physical Only- The pellets themselves deal only physical damage, which means they can be counter-acted by armor suits designed to specifically withstand physical damage, most often at the cost of their energy resistance, or deflector shields tuned to protect against physical objects. This could always be changed by weapon-specific mechanisms like plasma enveloping fields found in bowcasters.

Pistols, Rifles- while the ammunition could be fired with any weapon that uses a multicaliber magazine and bore, a trademark of versatile shatterguns, it was made with pistols and rifles in mind, as such it is not given to troops who plan to utilize it with larger caliber weaponry like Abregado-forged shattergun rotary cannons or mass drivers.

Description:

Background: Abregado has long since worked on development of special ammunition to increase the firepower and capacity for fatality of its already powerful magnet-based weapons. Stories tell of Abregado's Baron making secretive deals with Wookiees and the Princess of Alderaan to create a line of Phrik-tipped bowcaster bolts, perhaps these rumors were false, perhaps they did not bare their fruits yet, but it does seem that Abregado did move deeper into armor-piercing territory with acquisition of neuranium-based ammunition. HK encountered neuranium during the age of Old Republic, it was a fairly rare material, too dense to use it extensively for construction, decorations, or melee weapons, and with the rarity one encountered magnetic-based weapons back then there was no push for innovation in solid metal ammunition. The droid did took note of its density properties and recalled this knowledge when it was time for him and his ilk to prepare for war once more. HK managed to eventually establish special forges and smelteries that produced enough Neuranium to launch a production of this specialized ammunition, once a stockpile was made it was time to field them, especially since, as Atrisia proved to the droid, hid guns may have reached the peak of their firepower but there was still distance to catch up on with modern elite armor suites, a distance he meant to close through the introduction of this Neuranium ammunition.

Description: The Neuranium Pellets are black in appearance like the fabled Black Arrows of old forged by Gados and first Humans to skewer hides of dragons and monsters, plucking them from the air like wild geese. While standard pellets are spherical in shape, these bullets were formed as oblong for better armor penetration and aerodynamics, often polished in appearance to reflect their rather expensive and restricted state. It's debatable whether the shine is just natural appearance of Neuranium in that form or whether HK actually makes his soldiers shine every single of their bullets for the sake of theatrics and dramatic appearance.

Strengths: Due to the Neuranium's dense nature it did its trick in forming much more devastating shattergun ammunition, the pellets were roughly the same size as the standard durasteel shattergun pellets, the weapons fired them off at the same speed as standard pellets, which meant that due to their density they had more mass than a normal pellet and as such hit their targets with far greater kinetic force. The power of this ammunition was to the point that the weapons managed to increase the chance to penetrate rare armor suits, like those forged out of Phrik and Beskar, with a single shot, however this possible armor penetration and accuracy depended on what sort of weapon fired the pellet, as some guns like heavy magnetic repeaters hit with much greater force than light magnetic revolvers for example, greater force could keep the bullet's trajectory from being affected by planetary gravitational field to a significant degree. As with previous shattergun weapons, the shots carry immense kinetic force behind them, as such deflecting these pellets with a lightsaber is possible to a degree, the magnetic field still shifts their trajectories when they come through it, but often at the cost of forcing the blade back into its wielder, off to the side opening them up, or simply ripping out the lightsaber's hilt from their hands from the impact.

Weaknesses: The main weaknesses of this ammunition is the cost and slow production that goes into it being manufactured, unlike normal durasteel ammunition it cannot be mass-produced, that coupled with artificial restrictions that have bee placed on manufacturing and distribution of these bullets so that surplus would not reach civilian population or less trusted elements of Abregado or allied military. The last thing HK would want is for someone to use this ammunition against him as it would be one of the few things that can cause tremendous damage to his Phrik body. There is also the weight of each bullet, which adds up to about an extra kilogram of weight per magazine carried, it also subtly disrupts gravity around it, while this has no special physical effect, those who are sensitive to such things would be able to sense or perceive it instinctively, closing in on the anomaly like a beacon. The bullets also deal only physical damage by themselves, which could be hindering when facing foes who specifically prepared to face physical onslaught against them, and they were made with shattergun pistols and rifles in mind, as such these projectiles require magnets to fire them, having no chemical charges built into them whatsoever, and never being given to soldiers with intent of firing them from larger caliber weaponry like mass-drivers or magnetic rotary cannons.

Conclusion: In conclusion, this ammunition is both a trophy and development from the chaos and new enemies met by HK during the Atrisian Incident, projectiles forged on his orders as means of counter-acting new resistant armor suites using on contemporary battlefield. While these new pellets do fulfill their purpose, they restricted and rare, being granted only to elite and trusted units, making them a deadly but rare sight on a battlefield.

Done, I provided a list and short descriptions of my every post in Atrisia, I also provided list of related posts where people mentioned, used, or reacted to my shatterguns since in a normal development thread I would not have been writing by myself

As such the weapon that uses these pellets receives a +1 to armor class it is effective against
While we have quality ratings which help to quantify how protective an armor is, we do not correlate the penetrating power of weapons to the quality of an armor. You can say it is capable of penetrating heavier armor than non-neuranium variations of this slug, but you cannot give something a +1 penetration or other RPG-y gimmicks.

This is the kind of description we would be looking for - something generalized, while still giving a good idea of what the submission is capable of, without more or less stating that armors/materials below a specific stat are to be penetrated by this.

HK-36 said:
using these projectiles weapons are capable of penetrating most Phrik and Beskar suits in a single shot of armor rating up to that of 3/4 of the weapon's normal armor penetration.
This needs to be reworded. It currently implies that every shot will always do 3/4ths of normal armor penetration on beskar/phrik. This needs to be clearly stated that it can potentially achieve this, it is not a guarantee.

HK-36 said:
If a weapon is capable of penetrating armor up to level 10 in a single shot, it can now penetrate Phrik and Beskar armor up to level 7, if it could penetrate armor up to level 8 it could easily damage Phrik armor up to level 6.
This needs to be removed for the same reason as the first edit I requested.

HK-36 said:

As with my request to edit the armor penetration portion, this needs to be reworded to state it is a probability, it is not a certainty. It is up to the other writer to determine how a weapon effects them, not a submission.

Would this not reduce accuracy? Being extremely heavy (see: dense) would make a drop-off in range occur much quicker than a standard material like durasteel, and it would also require a more capable/powerful weapon to fire this due to the greater energy required to propel something with such a dense mass.

See my above question regarding this.

When it comes to normal armor suits penetration was increased as well, however since shatterguns were so effective against dealing with standard contemporary combat suits to the point of sometimes being classified as anti-vehicle weaponry it's not as big of an improvement as ability to deal with Phrik plating.

Another weaknesses is the stopping power of these bullets itself, artificial restrictions have bee placed on manufacturing and distribution of these bullets so that surplus would not reach civilian population or less trusted elements of Abregado or allied military. The last thing HK would want is for someone to use this ammunition against him as it would be one of the few things that can cause tremendous damage to his Phrik body. You already list out the strengths and weaknesses above this, and while I completely understanding explaining things in a bit more clear detail in the description, please shorten each of these and adjust them to match any changes made in the Strengths and Weaknesses section.

Production: Limited (Continuous production limited only to PCs and elite NPC units like Commanders or Commando Squds, about 3 magazines per person per engagement)
As this is ammunition designed to pierce through restricted materials such as Beskar and Phrik, I cannot approve this submission with access to multiple PCs or with access to NPCs at all. In order for me to approve this submission with the capabilities you have outlined I will need production lowered to Unique (a single character may use this). This will not be approved with access to NPCs.

I edited the penetration descriptions within Strengths and Weaknesses sections, the Pistol and Rifles weakness wasn't that much about power the pellets could be fired as as a restriction from just giving an NPC or PC Phrik-piercing ammo to be loaded into a minigun or a mass driver as that would have been too much for me. I added a lowered accuracy mention to the gravitational anomaly although included it only as probability since it depends on the power of the shattergun this could be fired from, since theoretically there could be weapons that would fire it fast enough for this to not matter, and the planetary or artificial gravity that would act upon it.

I'll have a go at the Description section tomorrow after I'll get some sleep and deal with school, also production wise, would it be possible for me to raise it to three chosen PCs per battle if I would sacrifice into development other successful Rebellions where I had more than five posts?

You can raise it to Semi-Unique production with a specific list of those three PCs listed in this submission for the Affiliation if you provide enough additional development.

Edited weaknesses and production,

I was active in the Iron Empire's rebellion against One Sith, I have 7 posts in there so that meets requirements for Neuranium's restriction, would that be enough with the 30 posts I already have listed in Dev section to add in another person who could use the ammunition?
