Description: As Incom begun taking up contracts for larger construction projects, such as Shipyard for Judah Dashiell, so did arise their need to upgrade their construction methods. While the company did have experience in large-scale constructions, especially with repulsorlifts, their methods became outdated after the Gulag Plague, and that is why these new drones were constructed. Born out of relationship between Incom and ARGH, these machines are made by Incom funding and request from droid foundries on Abregado, based on the designs of Tomb Spyders, engineering droids taking care of the forgotten droid Tomb World of Mechanus.

Made with simple GaDOS programming all these machines are concerned with is construction. The smaller droids called Worker Variant are more or less mindless machines, enslaved either to larger Carrier variant, or central computing unit defined by the company they work for, allowing a smarter AI or an organic to remotely control them. The larger Carrier Variant are smart enough to follow more advanced construction procedures set for them by central computing unit, requiring for a smarter AI or organic to keep track of their tasks at the end of the day but still capable of a degree of independence and control over the Worker Drones enslaved to it.

Production wise for every 100 or so Workers a Carrier is made, Workers being made from common durasteel and simple construction, they are little but a pair of appendages and oval body attached to a small jet and repulsorlift system, when Carriers on the other hand have a harder armor exoskeletons made from Durasteel reinforced with Graphite, larger although still oval bodies with rather simple jet and repulsorlift systems, carrier pods for building material and the Worker drones, two pairs of manipulation appendages, one pair large, one pair small and usually hidden just below their heads, and usually come equipped with more advanced programming and components like fusion cutters or fabricator pincers. The drones also come equipped with relatively weak personal deflector shields which, along with their armor, are designed to keep them protected in the vacuum of space from any radiation or stray debris like meteorites.

The larger size of the Carrier droids allow them to haul along the necessary construction material and a swarm of worker drones, allowing the work to go faster as less transports are required to haul the droids and materials along. Helping with them are their jet engine systems and repulsorlifts housed in their leg-like multiple appendages. Their jets are mainly used during work in the vacuum of space while repulsorlifts are utilized inside the atmosphere, due to the way they are installed it and the way the droids need to move their legs to adjust their trajectory it appears that they are skittering through the air while levitating, that coupled with the high pitched chittering noises they make while communicating in binary gives them quite arachnid appearance. While the Carriers are not faster than any other repuslorlift craft out there, the Workers are much faster, zipping and skittering about in the air, tending to the work set for them.

These droids are equipped with latest scanners and sensors made by Abregado, allowing them to diligently observe and keep track of the construction as well as any objects around which could possibly harm them. They also contain sound dampening systems in order to not make too much noise when working in the atmosphere, making the atmosphere more comfortable to the organics who often tend to dislike too much noise going off at once. Build-in Communication systems allows them to stay in touch with each other as well as the Central Computing Unit to which, ideally, they would deliver regular reports on the status of the construction. These units are also equipped with magnetic tractor pads and magnetic tethers made from Graphite cables, they can use them to cling to metal structures in or outside of vacuum of space in order to anchor themselves and avoid slipping or drifting away for whichever reason. Also they come with internal temperature controls and build in Farraday cages, as well as Asbestos insulation protecting their inner workings, in order to withstand extreme cold of space, extreme heat, or radiation storms that could sweep through their ranks, especially if ionic discharges are involved. Finally, the last of their special equipment are the trackers installed into them, to keep track of their position, self-destruction units and kill switches in case the unit malfunctions, gets captured, or goes rogue, and redundant droid brains and systems, in case they take damage in line of work with such systems it is more difficult for them to get damaged to the point of deactivation.
Equal numbers of them have been given to Incom and kept by Abregado-Rae, making them a common sight for both. While they could potentially be used as war droids they are not meant for such tasks, it would require some component modifications as well as modifying the programming.
