Canon Link: Beskar'gam
Primary Source: N/A

PRODUCTION INFORMATION

Manufacturer: Ardasz Verd
Affiliation: Ardasz Verd
Model: N/A
Modularity: Extremely modular! Parts of the armor are specifically designed so that weapons and defense systems can be swapped out to tailor the armor to a situation based on intelligence collected prior to an engagement.
Production: Unique
Material: Titanium alloyed with Beskar and Ciridium , as well as Solarium Glasteel (obtained here ) for the helmet's visor, and grounding circuitry to help minimize electrical interference from various sources. Specialized Heads Up Display that utilizes a MFTAS and Myomer acquired here to compensate for the difference in physical strength and overall bulk of the armor.

SPECIAL FEATURES

Heads Up Display enables armor's wearer to track enemies on the battlefield and strategize in real time.

Armor is durable and resistant to acidic breakdown, a weakness most beskar'gam cannot deal with.

Thick plates contend with armor piercing weaponry well.

Myomer from Locke and Key Mechanics allows the wearer to move the armor with less difficulty by compensating for the difference in bulk to physical strength.

Strengths:

+ Intrepid Design: Titanium alloys are largely impervious to corrosion, and thus, acidic damage can cause some external wear, but will not outright go through the armor. This may be inaccurate if subjected to sustained exposure to acidic compounds.

+ Heads Up: Ardasz' heads up display is a marvel of Mandalorian Ingenuity. It can link up with virtually any weapon system or defensive countermeasure he adds to the armor virtually seamlessly and command them verbally, or with microexpressions. In addition to a full 360° view of the battlefield, it can tag up to ten targets and track them at once, allowing Ardasz to craft strategies on the fly. It does have the drawback of not being able to keep track of targets that are stealthed or have sensor baffling, though.

+ Vent Heat: Weapons and Defensive Emplacements require a strain on the armor, and in this case, that strain comes in the form of overheating. Ardasz created a fast venting system that allows his armor to rapidly cool down all systems at once by flushing out all of the built up heat and taking on cooler air. This allows systems that have been put on ice to come quickly back online.

+ Juggernaut: Due to the application of the Myomer system, Ardasz is capable of superhuman feats of strength while armored. Unfortunately, due to the size and weight of the armor, the speed augmentation works at optimum output at less than human moving speeds.

Weaknesses:

- Behemoth: Unlike some of the lighter weight, mobility minded beskar'gam that has been crafted, Ardasz has gotten older and tired of the jumping and running younger vode are wont to do. His armor does not lend to any sort of aerobatics, nor is it capable of sustained flight even with the use of a jetpack. He can achieve short bursts of altitude with some effort and clear mid-size distances, but in order to surmount something like a canyon, he would have to find an alternative route. Additionally, the weight of his armor is such that ice would probably not support him, and weakened bridges or floor would most likely collapse beneath him.

- Slow your roll: Short of activating the mobility boosters, while in full armor, Ardasz' overland movement speed is virtually ¾ of normal. He is unable to sustain sprints that surpass this for more than several seconds at a time.

- The Downside of Alloys: Titanium makes Beskar more resilient against acids, but it does so at the cost of losing some of the outright defensive power of the Iron. Where Lightsabers might do absolutely nothing to Beskar proper by and large, sustained damage would likely result in compromised armor integrity.

- Venting Limitations: While the armor can vent the heat it has built up, it cannot do so more than once every thirty minutes, and the venting countermeasure itself causes the armor to go into a sort of "lockdown" protocol to ensure that it does not send too much power to all of the systems and overload itself. For that reason, Ardasz has to be mindful of which weapons he uses, which ones he wants to reuse, and prioritize carefully. Additionally, this vents very high heat into the area around him, indiscriminate of ally or enemy. This heat is capable of causing severe burns.

DESCRIPTION

When he first set out to build his armor, he did it bearing in mind that he was a gearhead. It had to allow him to play around with all sorts of tools and tricks, and it had to be able to keep up with his brain in the process. Out of that line of thinking, he designed the HUD to give him an edge in real combat, keeping track of enemies while doing all the wonderful things Heads Up Displays do.

But Ardasz was never one to take a backseat in battle. He loved the thrill of being up front, in the face of the enemy, and he loved the feeling of overcoming them with sheer force. Because of that, he designed the armor knowing it would have to contend with all kinds of dangers. This meant Force Users, their lightsabers, and more eclectic enemies. It's design gives him ample protection with some of the most durable substances in the known galaxy to add some assurance.

In some situations as he was field testing the armor, it became apparent that there would need to be times where he could move a bit more quickly or respond in ways he normally would not be able. To that end, he engineered a means of rapidly cooling off the systems integrated into the armor and allowing them to instantly revert to working order. With the inherent weakness that it could only be done once every half hour, it still meant that if he was clever, Ardasz could have an answer to any question in virtually any situation.

"It's not a 'gam meant for a rookie. Only veterans should ever try using this baby."
