Ardana 'nilim

Name: Ardana ‘nilim
Faction: The One Sith
Rank: No Rank Yet
Species: Twi’lek
Age: Twenty-Four
Sex: Female
Height: 5’7”
Weight: 130 lbs
Eyes: sulfuric yellow
Skin: Pure White
Force Sensitive: Yes
Appearance:
Unlike most sith, Ardana wears no robe to conceal her dark arts. Instead, she prefers tight-fitting combat attire with a jet black color and grey trimmings. She wears black gloves and combat boots with silver armor plating for minor protection. She dons no headdress, except for a metal band on the back of her head, that comes around to form small ear cones. As far as weapons go, Ardana carries nothing but a saberstaff on her belt, and relies on her strength in the force for the rest. Ardana’s eyes have long since been corrupted by the dark side of the force, and hence are now a luminous, sulfuric yellow. Their original color is unknown. The areas around them along with her mouth have been made dark and purple, with small, just barely visible veins beginning to show near.
Stengths:
-Although she still has much more to learn, she has been thoroughly trained in lightsaber combat forms such as Soresu, Makashi, and Dun Möch
-She focuses on physical agility, allowing her to hone in on her force skills once she has made a successful dodge

Weaknesses:
-Due to her physical stature, Ardana cannot act as a walking tank like some sith, instead she relies on very defensive tactics and using Dun Möch to lure her opponents to their doom
-Although often quite reliable, she could easily change allegiances or emotions if given the opportunity for revenge against her former master

History:
Since the beginning of her training at the Jedi Temple, the young Twi’lek already struggled with her emotions and the allure of the dark side of the force. She often questioned why her parents would have abandoned her, and given her up to the temple if they truly loved her. This feeling has been stuck in her head, and as a result, a small part of her would forever feel betrayed by any of those she trusted. Ardana’s feelings of hate and often rash actions deeply concerned the council, enough to consider exiling her out of the Order. Some quick words of convincing from Jalek Molin, Ardana’s Master, helped the council to think otherwise. Molin had always stuck up for the young padawan, believing that with time, she would learn to forget this fear and hate and her emotions would soon become soothed by the force. In a way, this human had been the only thing closest to family Ardana would ever have, and for that she would forever appreciate his friendship.

When Ardana was left to her own devices, she would come to soon meet and respect many of her fellow padawans that she would fight alongside with. One of them especially being Valen, a human boy who had made a special connection with Ardana since they had met early in their training. It amazed her that he could be so calm and in tune with the force, and it inspired her to follow his teachings. Through the many nights they spent at the temple together, Ardana could not deny that she had hopelessly fallen in love with the boy, a secret not even her master could know. Although they were the closest of friends, the more Ardana tried to subtly express her feelings towards Valen, the more he began to distrust her, and feel that she needed rehabilitation if she was ever to recover from this path of darkness she was going down. This greatly frustrated the girl, not knowing how much longer she could keep her love for Valen a secret, and having to be preached to about the proper ways and balance of the force every time the two met.

Nearing towards the time when she would’ve become a jedi knight, Ardana, her master, and a small group of jedi were sent to the Planet of Iridonia to settle a diplomatic dispute. However, during their travels, their ship was ambushed by imperial forces, causing an all out firefight between the two groups. Ardana had seen piles of debris from the ship fall, blocking the path of Valen and some other padawans, enclosing them in a small, dark storage room. Knowing that their lives were in great danger, Ardana begged to run to their aid, but was rebuked and denied by her master. He had warned her that it was too high a risk, and eventually she had to be carried off by troopers nearby. When all was lost and the ship had fallen, Ardana had sensed the death of Valen, and met her breaking point, losing any grasp she retained on the light side of the force.

Only hours after the they returned, the Twi’lek’s rage caused her to ignite her saber behind her master, and the two engaged in a short duel in their quarters. Much to her dismay, Ardana quickly realized she was not yet a match for her master, and there were still many things she had to learn. Once an opportunity was found, she fled the scene and retreated to the stars. The young apprentice would forever have a strong distrust towards the republic, and have a thirst for vengeance against Molin. Ardana would not simply lie and wait, she would venture across the galaxy, becoming stronger with each day until she could return and her lust would be filled.
