Description:
The Archon Model A is Blood Hunter's first attempt at dedicated combat support vessel. With inspiration from the legendary Slave I, the Archon A brings a sleek edge to fleet combat.

The Archon's primary weaponry, four Laser Cannons and four light repeating Cannons, are housed in large bays in each wing. These cannons are similar to turrets, in that they are capable of tracking targets to a certain degree. This is still limited to a forward firing arch. The missile tube and reserve munitions are housed in the arms that extend for the main fuselage. The tubes open along the interior of said arms. Point Defense cannons and a Twin Flak cannon are positioned near the aft of the vessel, providing a degree of protection against persuing fighters. The point defense cannons are automated but the flak cannon requires a gunner to operate the turret.

The Archon also boasts a support fighter, the Boar-Wolf Medium Fighter. While intended to be used as an escort fighter, this support vessel pulls extra duty. Serving as a single person escape craft, a skiff to journey to and from planets or space stations or even an emergency resupply craft. The B-W is housed in a specially designed hanger, replacing what otherwise could have been a fair sized cargo bay. The hanger cannot support any other fighter craft as it is shaped and sized to fit the B-W Medium Fighter explicitly.

While the Archon A can be operated by a single pilot, who would have fire control over the primary cannons and missile tubes, it's very difficult for one person to be truly effective in a large scale combat situation. To optimize combat performance a crew of four is idle. A pilot with control of the missile systems. A co-pilot who aims and operates the primary laser cannons. A defense gunner for the flak turret and perhaps damage control. Finally, a support pilot to operate the B-W Medium Fighter in combat.

At full capacity, four crewmembers and four prisoners, the Archon Model A has a mission limit of three months before it requires resupply. The cargo hold is rather limited, a roughly three ton capacity.

[member="Zenva Vrotoa"], this general concept is solid.

The inclusion of those stealth systems will require a 10 post development thread. If you remove them, it will not require a development thread.

Strengths and weaknesses look pretty good. I would say that the stealth systems would count as "advanced systems" however, so I'd remove that from the weaknesses list. Otherwise, this looks good to go.
