NAME: Aravae Lialynn

FACTION: Bounty Hunter's Guild / Catharian Remnants

RANK: Dame

SPECIES: Winged Mutant

AGE: 24

SEX: Female

HEIGHT: 5'10

WEIGHT: 126 Lbs

EYES: Heterochromia, Blue and Gold.

HAIR: Black with Sun Damage Manifesting in Blue Tips that culminate into completely white edges.

SKIN: Light Blue / Light Gray

FORCE SENSITIVE: Limited Force Sensitivity ; Small Amount of Precognition and untrained.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
+ Skilled in Melee : From the moment she could walk, Aravae was trained as part of a Dame's Group of Wards to do combat, and to be diplomatically savvy. In other words, Aravae could only manage to swing a sword and awfully thinks ill of any sort of genuine diplomacy. Thinking it as a pointless venture, and beyond her skill set.
+ Wings + Upward Mobility: Aravae is equipped with genetically crafted wings that allow long-range flight and agility. Foregoing the need to use a jump-pack or jetpack to access hard to reach areas.
+Speed: Slated for the quick and stealthy approach rather than the brute force approach that most individuals in the galaxy use. She is fast and speedy in both attack and defense.

- Tech-Idiot: Consider that she was created on a world that was once great, and all powerful in its age. However, it had fallen to disrepair and ruin following the disappearance of the aliens that once guarded the planet. Thus, dropping it into a horrendous dark age where it regressed into a Feudal World type situation. However, thanks to premonitions. She had managed to build a primitive radio system that was capable of faster than light communication. Everything else is simply magic.
-Horrible Xeno Mutant: On Cathay, many were considered as the ideal being. For going through extensive genetic modifications. Naturally, this lead to "experiments" to add typically non sapient animal features, such as wings to individuals. Sadly, with the disappearance of the precursors. They were hunted down and killed in droves. Aravae was considered to be exempt. Being taken as a Noblewoman's ward. Offworld, the reaction would be profound or minor depending on a planet's culture or species. (Feel free to be RACIST! :V)

APPEARANCE:
Physically bearing resemblance to a more human-like Cathar than to a baseline human. Aravae wouldn't blatantly stick out in a group of Cathar travelers but anywhere else, even among humans. The backward sweeping horns and the black crow like wings often bring to bear stares and hesitant glances. However rectified with the addition of a hood and cloak, maybe a mask in extreme cases.

Clothing::
Aravae often wears a archeotech body-glove, and close fitting outer garments of leather or cloth to prevent hindrance during flight. Typically savvy for light armor, but often experimenting with chain-mail sleeves and boiled leather leggings to prevent scrapes and cuts on landing. On her chest, she typically wears a demi-breastplate. Only covering the chest and designed to be low profile. A typical plate helmet is worn, with wide barred vision slits, a flip up visor and armored housings for the horns. It is related to the stereotypical Gothic Armet seen IRL.

Weaponry:: Ceramite Sword of the Oakshott XVIa variant. Equipped with a curved crossguard made of Bronze and lightly engraved with the name of the swordmaker. Master Armoundai of Skrartis

BIOGRAPHY:
Created but not born approximately 150 years ago by Catharian Scientists during the heyday of the Hegemony. Aravae was all but a batch of specifically gene crafted children slated to be given to the people as designer babies. However, with the fall of the Hegemony and the disappearance of its entire civilization into the wind to be forgotten forever. These gene crafts were locked away in stasis. Likely to never be removed from their birthing chambers. However, decades passed and the children were eventually recovered with many simply destroyed in their birthing chambers wheras others were simply taken and never heard from again. Leaving poor Aravae as the sole occupant of the pod of one-thousand.

On the surface, the world of Cathay devolved, its people breaking into three massive kingdoms that covered the entire surface of Cathay. The loss of many technologies in the innumerable wars between them and the death of knowledge thanks to the adoption of a superstitious and backward religion which saw the stars and those who lived near them as hostile xenos slated for the ovens in the almost literal sense. However, as time passed. These three great Empires eventually died. Taken by either inner termoil or destroyed by its enemies.

For the last one-hundred years, a stable coalition of ten-thousand kingdoms has reigned over the land. Taking tribute from the Peasant class and forgetting about all that lived in the sky. It was 26 years years ago when Aravae was discovered as one of the only pure-strain Catarian Pure-Bloods out there. With others being the ruling families of Cathay. Or isolated families in the woods. She was taken from the Archeotech pod that she was housed in and given to a lowly Noble Family located in the isolated forest of Relian Dornius. She was raised there, not bearing any resemblance to the Humans that raised her. And to their dismay, they discovered that she was indeed a handful. It was as if she were designed to steal. For example, the Father of the house returning and finding all of his gold rings scattered about and Aravae no where to be found. Upon coming of age, in Catharian Society being Age Five. She was given a name. "Aravae", meaning "Little Thief" in Catharian. And her last name, being the family name Lialynn. Named after a great heroine of old who brought prosperity to the Ten-Thousand Kingdoms by using her Sorcery to warm the planet and allow for bountiful harvests year round with the event known as "Winter" becoming forgotten. As a young noblewoman, she was educated in the standardized female-oriented arts. Such as knitting, and for when the time comes. Parenting. But, Aravae cared little for the education, though gingerly took in as much knowledge as she could. Afterall, it was in her nature.

However, when the Coalition of Ten-Thousand Kingdoms entered into the dark-times. Where the animals seemingly died of fright, and entire villages vanished into the winds. The stable foundation that the world existed on crumbled in all but a few years. Each Kingdom turning on eachother in fear, and mistrust due to these happenings. However, it was when tragedy struck the household. Did Aravae ascend. The entire fiefdom of Dornius Forest. Vanished one night. Save for those inside the Castle. Following that morning, it were as if the people just up and left in no hurry at all. For example, their clothes were missing, and their houses simply abandoned. The animals too, were slaughtered and every single one butchered for meat and foodstuffs. Not to mention, all of the stored grain in the silos were simply missing. Which could doom the Dornius forest to widespread famine and disaster. But it was then, did someone step forth to help.

Dame Aremyah. Knight of the Castiglian Order, and renowed for her skill at diplomacy and arms. Came forth to offer her hand of assistance to the dead fiefdom of Dornius Forest. Offering both colonists and foodstuffs in exchange for but one thing. Aravae. Aravae herself was reluctant at first, including her Father and Mother, viewing it as some sort of trick to leave them vulnerable without an heir. But-- it was then did Aremyah finally state her intentions to train Aravae as a trusted ward. To eventually become a Dame, like Aremyah herself. As with any sort of accord, Aravae was quickly given to Aremyah, with Aravae's family left to their own devices. As the Dame's Ward. Aravae was trained in diplomacy, and swordsmanship like her lady. Showing increasingly great skill with the Daemon Class of Swordsmanship with emphasized fast and hard movements with minimal telegraphing. Similar to Form II lightsaber techniques. Here, she trained and learned. Eventually becoming a Dame likewise to her teacher.

It was one day, in later years that Aremyah finally divulged a secret to Aravae. A secret which would have been considered heresy and slated the both of them to die horribly for the merest mention of it. Aremyah was building a radio transponder to communicate with the stars above to find a solution to the disappearances. The Dame herself had been working on this project for many years, utilizing archeotech thought long since lost to build the transponder, with minimal knowledge on how to actually operated the cursed machine. But one day-- it finally worked. Aremyah wished for Aravae to use the device to go across the stars to both adventure and seek help. Lest, the world of Cathay die to this unseen menace. But first, she needed help to even get off planet...
