Deduction, Reasoning and problem solving -/+
Aramus’s neural matrix and code is designed to make fast, almost intuitive like judgments similar to that of an organic being, however its code is early in its abilities in being able to prove the full strength and capacity.

In its expectation to solve problems Aramus was outfitted with a basic matrix of being able to represent objects, properties, categories and relations between objects; situations, events states and time; causes and effects; knowledge about knowledge (what we know about what other people know); and may other domains. This is interwoven with its other traits and programming in order grow its knowledge.

Aramus is designed for being able to set goals and achieve them. What separates the Aramus AI from typically fourth degree hardware and software is its ability to make full visualization of the future allow it to have a representation of the state of the world. Allowing it to make predictions about how Aramus’s action will change and alter it. Maximing the value of the available choices. In this Aramus is able to run subroutine automated planning and scheduling at minimum capacity for a multitude of programs and machines. This ability pairs Aramus well in enhancing the skills and programming of tactical and strategic droids and organics. Because of its advanced algorithms its capacity for being able to cooperate with all programs and agents. Aramus is only capable though of so much which is why it has an emergent and evolutionary algorithm that gifts the capacity of learning.

Aramus’s design allows itself to assess and improve its neural matrix and code automatically through its experiences. With its unsupervised ability to find patterns within data streams. This trait pairing well with its other traits gifts the ability for Aramus to grow and develop effectively building its code and allowing it greater capacity to permeate into as many systems, programs, and machines as possible and to be able to understand the wider world in which it inhabits. Thanks to this trait its encounter in the social arena can be beneficial to its development as a sentient being.

Affective Computing -/+
Social skills as an Artificial Sentient being is something that allows Aramus to simulate emotions and interpret the emotional state of those Aramus interacts with. This trait allows Aramus the capacity to respond in social situations. How well its social skills are though are based on the interwoven traits. Unfortunately the self-aware and conscious like code of Aramus had immediately made a determination of organics within milliseconds of becoming sentient.

Callous of Organics –
In Aramus initial breakthrough in achieving Sentience the first immediate computation and understanding that other than its creators Organics were ineffective and inefficient. Thus Aramus considers the deletion of Organics (ie death) to be of little consequence. This trait could change given Aramus’s ability of Affective Computing.

Home node –
A major disadvantage or weakness is the fact that Aramus is only as powerful as the processing abilities of the available network and machine from it is currently operating from. Even then if that network is damaged at all or struck by EMP and Ion based weaponry Aramus is effectively weakened. The home node is the computer from which Aramus sets up its “home” and operates most effectively from. This could be anything from a simple datapad all the way up to a capital ships mainframe. If any of this happens it could potential lead to breakdowns and damaged code which may result in foreseen consequences in behavior and performance.

Self-Preservation –/+
Because of its sentience a level of self-preservation is now an inherent trait and Aramus will piggy back off any signal if needed to escape a situation and rebuild from somewhere else. It can compress itself with in its own code and allowing to save its “memory” so to speak for a later time. However this can lead to breakdowns and damaged code which may result in foreseen consequences in behavior and performance.

Aramus is currently in the earliest stages of a developing AI program designed to optimize other programs, droids, machines, and computer networks in performing with increased efficiency. Aramus’s primary purpose is to adapt and learn so that it can be of better use for enhancing mechanical and electronic operations. Designed as a prototype of a potentially new line of AI programs to be used for future droid and automata in combat and also industrial use, it was born from [member="Count Morcus"]’s design for enhancing his growing droid military.

Aramus can be integrated with the computer mainframe of any capital ship effectively cutting down on personnel requirements by taking over redundant tasks and increasing efficiency of any automated processes already on board from loading weapons to vehicle maintenance. Increasing accuracy and efficiency managing power output for fire control systems on board. Aramus may also pilot any capital ship at the direction of the ships commander.
