SPECIAL FEATURES
 • Brilliant Missile: Brilliant missiles are incredibly accurate, so much so they have been classified as semi-sentient before. Sorry droid activists, this thing is basically a droid warhead.
 • Sensors: The Screamer relies on electromagnetic, lifeform, and photoceptors to track its prey. Uh, I mean, targets.
 • Targeting system

Strengths:

 • Coaxium Punch: RMIA decided to take Coaxium and utilize it to create a weapon of extreme effectiveness. A little bit goes a long way, and the material is rather expensive (comparatively speaking), so these missiles aren’t exactly chalked full of the stuff, but it does pack a massive punch.

 • Guided: These missiles are guided, so they can track their targets rather well.

 • Anti-vehicle: These missiles are designed to target tanks, armored speeders, and in a pinch--air support. They do pretty good damage against them--imagine what they could do to a person (sorry, Doug), a building, or a squad of soldiers (sorry Linda, Matt, and Phil….)

 • Scalable: The screamer comes in multiple sizes. The common size is for infantry troops to use on their missile launchers, however it can be scaled up to tank size, fighter size or--theoretically--capital class size. However, you don’t really need a guidance factor for Capital ship to capital ship warfare. Also--common sense takes place here, guys. A tank cannot launch a capital class warhead.

 • Fast: FC-25 burns very quickly. The fuel behind the missile makes it break Mach 1, in some cases Mach 2 was also recorded (depends on air resistance). As if being guided wasn’t enough, it goes faster than sound…

 • Semi-sentient: The Screamer is a Brilliant Missile, making the Screamer is incredibly smart and accurate. Some would consider it semi-sentient.

Weaknesses:

 • Lock on Required: The Screamer is designed to track their targets, for that, it has to lock onto the target in the first place. This takes between 3 to 5 seconds.

 • HUD required: No regular grunt can just use it. They need a HUD to integrate into the Screamer’s targeting system.

 • Stealth: The Screamer isn’t named for being the quietest mouse of the bunch. The rapid burn of the FC-25 breaking the sound barrier makes a very loud noise (sorry, Doug). And if that didn’t give away your location, the trail of white smoke that follows certainly will.

 • One shot wonder: The Screamer does what it says on the can. It’s a missile. You launch one, you have to load another one in. Loading a shoulder propelled missile takes time. Launcher not included.

 • Recoil: It is a Missile we are talking about launching. For ground troops, most will be knocked off balance, even the super hearty ones, by the sheer force alone. The skinnier, weaker ones--well they are gonna fall on their butt, probably.

 • Weight: These missiles are heavy by nature. Troops realistically (with other kit) couldn’t carry more than two by themselves, then you are having to look to get someone else to help carry that business.
DESCRIPTION
It was really only a matter of time before RMIA started making their own warheads. Honestly, sometimes to “make stuff more deader” you have to reinvent the very basics. Rolling up in a massive tank is cool, shooting people with a flechette heavy machine gun is awesome too--and so is melting the armor off your enemy. But there is nothing more satisfying sometimes, than just launching something faster than the speed of sound to obliterate a tank. Or, ya know, that Jerk who won't stop parking in your spot. Take that Steve!

Coaxium is some of the most volatile stuff in the galaxy in its raw form--so clearly, the more refined version was used. The volatile form wasn’t really needed anyway to get the effect that RMIA was looking for, so we used the safer version. But of course, that doesn't mean we didn't try. It just didn't go over well, and it ultimately had to stop when HR told us that one more dead body was sure to lead to a lawsuit this time.

Once that was settled, we had to choose a fuel type. FC-25 was the ideal fuel source--the ability to burn quickly gave the new Missile speed that could not be outrun and barely could be seen in movement. Unfortunately with great speed comes great noise and thus the Screamer was named. The speed, however did nothing to counter the Screamer’s accuracy. In its range, the Screamer could hit with virtual inerrant accuracy (Sorry again, Doug). Of course--its got a coaxium warhead, so who cares? The punching power it has is awe-inspiring.

All in all, its just a unique missile for the board.
