*gasp*
Aurora's breath wheezed against her chest, the pain of regaining consciousness taking its time to numb. Instinctively, Aurora tried to get up but soon realised she was lodged in between a rock and what used to be her Tie Silencer.
"Come on!" She spat out as her fingers desperately clasped around the metal that had bent around her waist and legs, shards of the wind screen dashed across the surfaces.
With a frustrated shout, Aurora let her body go limp, trying to regain her strength. She could barely think as her head pulsed, blood dripping across her eyes. Through the red she could see the fire roaring behind her, the smoke billowing up from this hole she'd crashed into. At least she could still see the sky....
Through the ringing sound of alarms and flames and painful grunts, Aurora called out.
"Is anyone there?"
But her words only reached a hoarse whisper, her dry throat gagging as some smoke blew in her direction, flecks of embers brushing against her skin. One ash touched the nape of her neck where her scar was and all too fast panic set in. This was all too familiar. Aurora felt her eyes stinging as she remembered the first time she'd been stuck in a cave, left to die. Only this time no one knew she was here...
"Oh god, please not again." She sobbed, still clinging onto the metal as her escape attempts drew more desperate, her hands becoming sore as they scraped against anything they could hold.
Her sobs soon turned into a frustrated screech, lashing out with the force.
Underneath her, Aurora felt the metal slowly slipping down, tugging her with it.
"No, no, no, no, no!"
As the ship dropped further down the cave, Aurora attempted to use the force again, though the confusion kept her from focusing and soon she was plummeting down with it.
After a few feet the ship hit the bottom, spurting a cloud of embers up into the sky.
The gap between the rock and the ship had expanded enough that Aurora could begin to climb out, uising every ounce of her strength.
Another burst of flames reached up, burning through Aurora's back and lighting up her scar.
She flung her head back with an agonising scream and when she re opened her eyes-for a split second she thought she saw a figure above.
"Bella?..."
Her grip slipped and within a moment she lay unconscious on the ship's wreckage.
