STRENGTHS

• Antivenum ~ Iron Rose Antivenum™ lipstick included chemicals that caused a noticeable tingling sensation against the skin upon contact with a wide variety of poisons and toxins based found on the database of most modern Bio-stabilizer implants, allowing the wearer to detect nearly any lethal, sleeping or paralyzing agents in spiked drinks or food. Simply apply the tainted material to the lips and wait for the tingle. DO NOT lick them. If you encounter tainted foodstuffs, please leave the premise and contact your doctor immediately.
  
  
• Self-glossing ~ Iron Rose recipes included various chemicals which caused lipstick to gently bond with skin on contact while forming a protective glossy film on the surface, preventing accidental smudging, moisturized the lips and maintained the signature smooth, glossy look of the brand's other lipsticks.

WEAKNESSES

• Nut allergies ~ Every bottle of Antivenum™ lipstick was made with Moruga Nut Oil for texture, which could be harmful to beings with nut allergies. As of 902 ABY, Iron Rose Beautique™ produces no alternative.
  
  
• Just a name ~ The iconic Antivenum™ line of Iron Rose lipstick was unfortunately a stylistic branding choice and therefore misleading. Chemicals in the lipstick did nothing to prevent poisoning on their own, but rather aided in detecting them before consumption. Instructions on the bottle recommended to seek medical help immediately upon detection of harmful substances.

DESCRIPTION

A small vial of lipstick with a rose logo on it. The aurabesh reads "Antinvenum", but is visually indistinguishable from any other lipstick. They are usually found in discreet, unmarked boxes ordered over the holonet. Customers can optionally order without a receipt, or even in unmarked vials.

The "Antivenum" line was perhaps the closest thing to a benevolent product the Iron Rose Beautique ever produced. There was no catch or grim secret, it did everything it said on the box and even included a full ingredient list complete with allergy warnings, and a separate instruction sheet with every order. They were designed for use in the dangerous game of Sith politics, but to the public, they were marketed especially to women who lived in shady spaceports such as Nar Shaddaa, and to girls entering the dating game.

A little more expensive than the lipstick found in the beauty isle of your average SpaceMart, but many found it worth the comfort and reassurance of a lipstick that warned them of danger before a spiked drink ever passed their lips.

Users were instructed to test their drinks or food by letting it touch the lips without opening them, giving the illusion of taste or savoring, then waiting a second or two for the tingling sensation to either start, or best case scenario, pass the safe period without ever triggering.

The sensation itself could be described as acidic and bubbly, like highly carbonated citrus.
