Ashin Varanin has collected sniper rifles for a very long time, and some of the bigger pieces in her collection come with really problematic recoil. Years back, she commissioned these shoulder pads from the specialized workshop Bard Independent. The good gadgeteers at Bard miniaturized an inertial compensator and an anticoncussion field within one flexible, vibration-dampening, wearable piece of gear. It's become more important as Ashin gets older and the dark side takes its toll on her body.
