Based in Sentinel, The Antares Exploration Company was founded in 900 ABY, and operates as a dynamic entity dedicated to deep space exploration and trade within the outer rim territories. Led by Ailmar and a team of pioneering scientists, engineers, and explorers, the company is a bold upstart, pushing the boundaries of sentient knowledge by venturing into the farthest reaches of the cosmos. Unofficially, the company is committed to providing humanitarian aid and, in certain instances, acting as a force against tyranny and oppression. This company also acts as a conduit for many of the transactions conducted by The Freestar Coalition, serving as a means to present Ailmar's dealings in a more legally acceptable manner to outside observers.
RATIONALE
The Antares Exploration company served as a guise for Ailmar's personal aspirations, which, if pursued openly, would have cast a shadow over his father and the parent company's reputation. After spending three years working under his father's wing and witnessing the ongoing humanitarian crises plaguing the outer rim, the determined Sephi struck a deal. He negotiated to form an offshoot of Dawnstone Logistics entirely designed for "Exploration" as the name might suggest, but would instead serve as front to run humanitarian and smuggling missions into the heart of tyrannical bodies.
