*bam*

The blood of a once living miner was well- everywhere. The grounds of a Cortosis mining shaft strew various dead bodies. Some were laying lifeless in piles of blood, most with giant shotgun holes in there chest, or impaled and slaughtered with there own weapons. Luthian wasn't a doctor, but she could say one thing: multiple gunshot wounds definately made a statement.

Hooking one of her two corrosive shotguns on her back, the armored female mechromancer turned to look at whatever mining operation was established. Luthian didn't expect a planet like Apathos to sustain such large mining jobs. This one was obviously low budgeted. But she could already tell it would be enough for her armor upgrades. And for whatever Tajje- her commando drone counterpart- may need it for.

Luthian stepped over the bloodied dead body and made her way towards a minecart, reaching down into it's base and taking out one of the extracted rocks. Brittle, but a small layer over her existing armor wouldn't hurt.

:: Tags, we might have scored. How's it goin' with your end of the mine? :: she commed T-19 through there built in comm link. Luth had brought her fingers to the side of her helmet, pressing a touchpad to enhance the signal. She switched it to 'combat' mode, for which she didn't have to held her hands up.

::I managed to find a few carts load.::

"They were all dead. The final gunshot was an exclamation mark to everything that had led to this point. I released my finger from the trigger. And then it was over."
-Max Payne

What was supposed to be a simple pick-up turned into a corporate nightmare for a particular OS associated mining company. Jack was caught in the middle of it and the company looked to him to act as the first responder. If he could handle the situation, that would be just fine and he'd probably gain respect. If not, then back up from the mining company's trained security-merc force would be there in 10 minutes.

And that's why he was chasing down [member="Luthian Omondon"] in a dimly lit mining tunnel. Sithspit! There were bodies everywhere! He was running along the tracks when he got to an intersection between a mining tunnel and regular cart track tunnel. He skid to a stop, but then dove behind a mining cart. The mining tunnel she was in must have been 15 feet wide. She surely saw him, so he poked his head out around the side and said,

"You! Schutta! You've got a lot of nerve to treat this mine like some kind of homicidal grocery run! You're karked now!" He wasn't quite trained in the ways and he didn't figure its chance of success to be high, but it was never too late to practice Dun Moch.

Tajje would have been amused by his predicament if he wasn’t a droid, and if he wasn’t in it. The Commando droid quickly dove to the side, as a speeder bike blurred past, the driver cursing in some language Tajje was having a hard time distinguishing. While his organic counterpart had been given the more helpless miners of the whole operation, Tajje had encountered the security. He had decided that coming at close range would make things easier and they would suit him better, but unfortunately, the security had decided otherwise for him.

The mission was indeed a low budget one, but somehow the miners had scraped together enough pennies to get a few people to act as guards—though it was a low pay, the guards evidently liked the thought of money enough to protect this batch of workers more thoroughly than the others. Such security consisted of two combatants mounted on speeder bikes—not only trying to run T-19 over, but they were shooting at him as well.

:: Tags, we might have scored. How's it goin' with your end of the mine? ::

Tajje had received the come-link, and had already acknowledged his allies luck. Tajje would dive to the side again, as a second bike was coming—though it had not passed yet. The droid would have one knife unsheathed in one servo, while another servo outstretched before him, hitting the ground first. The dive’s momentum was designed to bring Tajje’s body upward some, providing enough room between him and the ground for his arm holding the knife to launch the blade for the speederbike which would simultaneously pass. The knife Tajje had thrown would embed it’s jagged end into the guard’s back, before exploding.

Tajje would complete the dive, transforming it into more of a roll in the aftermath. In his rage, the opther guard was coming for Tajje, shooting at him as the pilot zoomed to ram the droid. While normally, this would be extremely fast, to Tajje, everything was a second slower—making timing for him easier. The Commando droid would simply spin around, rolling flat on his back as he unsheathed yet another blade from his back. The small space between the speeder and the ground would be used against the guard, as he passed over Tajje. Once more the droid’s timing was perfect: he tossed the knife into the air before the bike passed over him. The blade would make contact with the speeder. Merely a second would pass before it exploded in the pilot’s face, just after passing over Tajje. The Commando bot would arise from the ground, dusting himself off as rubble and pieces sprouted into the air.

::I managed to find a few carts load.::

::No longer suffering minor set-backs. Area secured. I am currently entering the mine.::

Tajje would respond calmly, as his turquoise eyes glowed monotonously at the open cave mouth before him. Most of the miners had fled or were dead. The truth was Tajje knew he should have played the role of a sniper in this campaign. It was that simple. Because of his favoritism in knives, he had doomed himself to an extra few-minutes worth of fighting. Something one of the guards had held would catch Tajje’s eye. On the dead pilot’s back was a long rod—something that the droid was familiar with. Tajje would approach the fallen organic before picking up the long spear-like cylinder, recognizing it already. It was an electrostaff. Evidently, the guards had underestimated him, and had resorted to the crude approach of blasters.

Like T-19, it had cost them. The droid would let the staff clink to his back, as he entered the cave, following the rail. He could see a few carts ahead, and had silent calculations they would also be Cortosis. Sure enough, as Tajje peeked inside three carts, there was the Cortosis he had arrived for.

::I have successfully located three carts of Cortosis, Luthian.::

T-19 was, at the moment, unaware of the sith they were about to encounter~

Placing the lob of cortosis back into the cart, Luthian bent over to see if she could get the wheels moving. They were locked, but only by the turn of a knob, or a hatch. Two in total; one for the back wheels and one for the front wheels. Undoing the locks and moving to the back of the cart, Luthian was suddenly greeted by a voice. It wasn't very loud, but it sure as hell caught her attention.

"You! Schutta! You've got a lot of nerve to treat this mine like some kind of homicidal grocery run! You're karked now!"

Luthian's head bobbled in it's direction, her non illuminating optics scanning the mineshaft. Alas, she could spot a single head poke out from behind carts. Luthian rolled her eyes behind her helmet, really annoyed by this dude's ironic entrance.

"If your gonna' be brave, might as well show yur'self kid." Luthian said. Luthian's voice was coated in a thick accent, making it hard to understand her. "You siths aren't all that surprisin'. Now scram, I don't need any more killin' now that I have what I need."

Luthian purposely left out Tajje in her response. Her helmet would silence a commlink to her partner. :: We've got a sith down here. He's near the entrance. Ya' think you can attack him from the front? I'll follow up after you surprise him. ::

This spurred Jack's anger. He wasn't an idiot. [member="Luthian Omondon"] hadn't just killed these people with a spoon and the cover in this tunnel was bad enough he'd probably end up dead...he'd just have to make his own cover, then. He stooped down behind the cart and reached out with the Force. He felt every part of the cart through the Force and manipulated it to move. At first, it shook somewhat. Then, it lifted off the tracks and set down in the mining tunnel with it's wheels facing down the tunnel. Stooped down, he started to make haste behind the cart down the tunnel. It was jogging speed at best, but it was a better closing maneuver than bum rushing her. He pushed with a bit with his muscles while he let the Force do most of the propulsion.

Tajje

Tajje would flinch as a voice would echo down the cave, before turning around to the source of it. The Commando droid would hence apply his own specialized and enhanced vision, his glowing turquoise eyes blazing ahead of him, as he scoped out the area. He was at the opposite entrance of his companion, meaning some distance away, [member="Luthian Omondon"] was in a cave beyond a rail-way (for the carts) intersection. The droid would quietly move as he received her transmission, he would retract his scoping vision, though it only made difference of a few yards anyways. The rattling and squeaking of a cart slowly making it’s way for the intersection was audible, as the intruder made his way.

Tajje soundlessly placed one knife after another in a line, the blades of the weapons being planted in chinks of the rock, three knives in total having been laid. Tajje would hear the cart coming closer, and he was right around the corner now. If the intruder kept pressing on, he would soon find a Commando bot waiting around the corner—which would occur in but seconds unless Tajje made his move. The Commando droid reached for his belt, where he held the handle of his next choice of weapon. Meanwhile, his second hand would grasp yet another small throwing knife. Taking one more second, to allow [member="Jack Mirrikh"] to come one step closer—

It was then the Commando droid would leap out from his stationing, jumping and twisting his body so that he would be facing the intruder. The angle which Tajje had jumped at would enable him to see the man hiding behind the cart, granting Tajje the opportunity to send his single throwing knife right for the man—only the blade would be intended to miss. It was meant to land directly behind the man, and then cause an explosion. Meanwhile, Tajje would land on his shoulder, and quickly recover from his dive-like leap with a roll-like maneuver. The aftermath of his incredibly swift maneuver would be Tajje crouched upon the ground, his shoulder paint slightly scratched due to the rough surface, and his secondary blade ready as an explosion would erupt behind the sith, unless he had done something of the knife which had blurred past him~

Alas was her cue. While Tajje proceeded to take out the sith, Luthian kicked the side of the carts she'd been securing. Since the fight that had commenced had covered the easy way out, Luthian would have to push the carts through the entrance. It was a steady incline, but Luthain's Valnex armor would help with that. Now that it was out f the shop, she could do more tasks with ease. Pushing heavy carts up a hill were one of those things. Taking a running start, Luthian took off up the hill. It was a fast pace, easily turning the corner in a matter of seconds.

:: Tajje, hold him off. I'll assist once I get the carts onto the ship. :: Luthian said.

OOC:
I'm sorry that my post is so short. Since Tajje wanted a go with his electro staff, I decide you two could duke it out. I'll jump in eventually x3

(So, I take it that this cart I've been moving is still between us? Also, my lightsaber's qualities, of which you can read in the bio, can help with me thinking I deal a death blow, but you actually survive. The pain and damage to the surface it touches will be painful, though.)

Jack heard a scuffle and movement and a knife whizzed over his head. He looked at it, now skittering and stumbling a short way across the bumby, uneven ground. He peeked around to see some sort of droid crouching on the ground with another throwing knife. He said aloud, (more out of curiosity than anything else)

"Throwing kni---!" and then the "knife" exploded. He flinched and curled up as the explosion startled him and caused his ears to ring. Maybe there would be some pitting on his armor, but now there was a dust cloud spreading outward. He stood up while turning the cart in the air. He placed it so that the opening of the cart faced the newcomer. He then tried to use the Force to put it down on the droid and trap it like a mouse in a game of Mouse Trap.

(Sorry for the slow post. Was gone for most of the day.)

((Kay-O, [member="Luthian Omondon"] . And yes, Jack. the cart is still between us. But I'm about to change that.))

T-19 would still be crouching upon the floor, as his knife would indeed explode, and [member="Jack Mirrikh"] would do precisely what T-19 would desire him to: retaliate. T-19’s processor was one that was upgraded to work extremely fast—it was technology that was used to prove superior to the computing ability of an organics mind, and though it had taken ages to perfect, but T-19 was up and running now, hence, it had been perfected despite the odds. The commando droid would see the dust-cloud blowing from the floor, spreading as his opponent raised his cover (the cart) and then drew back his hand in a motion to launch the cart—it was clear the man was force-sensitive, if he could use the telekinetic ability force all force-users. The shroud of the dust cloud would also obscure T-19 from sight, though the commando droids eyes were ones that the cloud could not act as a barrier to.

The droid would leap into the air, performing a tight flip from where he was, before he would reach the ceiling. The Commando droid was like a blur, moving quicker than most would, as his feet would be the appendages to meet the ceiling of the cavern first, before he would launch himself again at an equally quick pace, performing a half flip as he would force himself downward gracefully yet with an expert rapid pace. His acrobatic prowess would allow him to just shoot himself from the ceiling, upside down, with his arms outstretched—his hands would clang right into the cart. His own momentum and weight would nullify that of the force shove the force-user had applied, sending the cart smashing to the ground.

That was not all. T-19 had bent his arms so that when he hit the ground, he could then launch himself backward, which, by chance, would send him directly over his opponent. T-19 would swipe his Claymore for intruder as he came over, about four inches of the blade sliding for the region that the intruder’s neck sprouted out from the shoulder armor. The move was quick and precise, T-19 would land and skid behind the intruder whether he delivered the blow or not. T-19 would now be but a three feet from his opponent due to skidding, and once more, T-19’s legs were bent, ready for action~

Nearly to the top! C'mon-. Despite the loud crashes from below, Luthian was very optimistic that the rustles weren't because of her, but due to her partner's fight with the intruder. She was sure that Tajje didn't think fighting was a job, but what she was currently doing was a pain in the rear. Now that she was almost to the top of the incline, Luthian had lost her boost and was mostly using her lower strength now. Alas, Luthian was spent of physical energy, for which she activated her jetpack and shot up the incline the rest of the way.

Luthian was able to shove the cart into the track breaker when she'd reached the sunny surface of the desert planet. By the time she walked out, the Ares 5 was already landing, then deactivated it's autopilot once landed. The cargo bed entrance dropped down it's ramp. Luthian would activate the mining cart's default hover setting and would glide the cart off the tracks. Luth didn't know why she hadn't done this during the incline. Maybe it was because of the rush they were in. Once the cart was in the cargobay, she sighed. I'm glad we managed to get the other three carts up here before [member="Jack Mirrikh"] came. she thought. Otherwise this would have all been a mess.

Jogging over to the other three carts, Luthian would begin to load of them. It would take her a few, so [member="Tajje"] would just have to hold his own weight until she was done.

(I am so, so very sorry for taking this long. It's vacation time, so you have my focus now. I'll make this quick if you like, but it would cut down on our combat development. Yay? Nay? I'm going to use the force to crush Tajje into rock wall, but that's typically god-modding and forcing you to do something you don't want your character to do. I am merely doing it to move the thread along, get you your cortosis, and get out of your hair. I've used up your patience far too much. If this post is not satisfactory, just use the messaging to inform me and I will edit.)

His opponent moved unnaturally. The rapid mechanical and electronic sounds of multiple gears shifting in concert gave away the nature of his lithe attacker. The cart went down with a solid thunk as the droid's tremendous amount of momentum was stronger than his half-hearted Force grip. It was pure instinct and fear that lead him to throw his hands up and ensnare the droid with the Force.

The droid was captured in mid-air by his use of the Force, a weapon outstretched for a killing blow. Somewhere in Jack's psyche, this triggered him. Tears came to his eyes and his face contorted in anger. He screamed at the droid,

"You...You piece of trash! YOU'RE going to kill ME?! Just like you killed these workers and guards?!?...I'LL KILL YOU!"

He poured his hatred and malice into the Force around Tajje's mechanical chassis. He turned and slowly squeezed the droid into the rock wall itself. He screamed in fury and rage at the assassin droid. The metal would squeal and protest and he only stopped pushing when a light went out on the body and the body was stuck in the wall enough to leave him dangling.

With a quick turn of his feet, he ran up the long tunnel, smoke coming off his armor and his breath coming out in angry huffs.

((No worries [member="Jack Mirrikh"] . If RL is tugging you elsewhere, that's totally understandable. I myself was gone for a little while.

--Let's continue [member="Luthian Omondon"] . :p Sorry for taking forever too. I can explain that to you over PM if you like. ))

Tajje felt his metals crunch before he was shoved into the rock of the wall harshly, and was yelled at by the organic intruder. The Commando droids armor and alloys would prevent him from being critically damaged, but he would still be stopped by the force, and would still be smashed into the wall. The droid's optics would watch as the man would bolt the other direction, his own chaotic personality and mental state getting the best of him. A common flaw in organics.

Tajje was at last released from the force, and allowed to clank down onto the ground, and there he would watch and wait, seeing if his opponent would come out again. His audios and optical receptors would reveal to him the man had gone for now, obviously indignant of how a simple droid was giving him a hard time. Tajje hence glanced to the hallway from which he had originated, before moving to approach the carts which he had discovered in the first case. The droid placed his hands around the handbag of the cart, setting it to hover mode before trailing cautiously after his companion. He would bring up the rear, one hand on a claymore hilt, the other on the cart. He was slightly battered and his paint job was more scratched that before, though his turquoise eyes still glowed with the same power and life.

The droid would wordlessly make his way to Luthian.

(Simple droid! SIMPLE! XD You were doing flips and tricks like a Geth Hopper! Ha ha ha! @Tajje)
(So, [member="Luthian Omondon"], there's bound to be a time gap before I catch up with you. I'm writing that I've caught up with you, but when you make your post, just write what you did before I caught up to you. That way, you get your fair amount of time in this somewhat turn-based system.)

Jack trekked and trekked. His angry walk occassionally became a spirited bounding of long legs before he settled back into a long legged stride up the gradual incline. She had gotten a major lead on him, but the mines were kind of hot and he wanted to pace himself. Eventually, he got to the top of the hill and at the mouth of the mine. He spotted his quarry and pulled his lightsaber out. It hummed to life with the dull bass sound of "THUMMM". It was a sound that even sent a chill through his own spine. The power felt in his grasp was satisfying as it usually was for most who owned their own lightsaber.

"Hold, murderous thief!" cried the upset Jack.
