Serenno ~ Outside of Carannia City ~ Chamber of Count's ~ 0900 Hours

It was an event that was becoming more and more frequent, the leaders of The Great Houses, the infamous Count's of Serenno had gathered to debate on the future of their planet and their people. The heads of all houses, even House Malvern, who had recently suffered an atrocity at the hand of an unknown house or houses, were expected to attend. Normally the meetings would be held in the Government building in Carannia city, but because of the rising danger the Count's have been experiencing they have now decided to host their gatherings outside of the city.

A small castle, based on the mountain's that overlook Carannia, hosted the Count's during this time. And though they believed they were safe there were still many factors they had not considered in their defense.

Within the Great Hall the meeting was finally coming to an end. Having convened at 10 in the morning the day before the entire preceding had taken nearly twenty four hours and most were eagerly awaiting the conclusion.

"If there is no further business then this council meeting is adjourned. Safe travels back to your estates my friends." The Count of House Dooku called through out the chamber, pulling most of the Count's from the stupor the last two hours of politicking had induced.

Adron stood, drawing his back into a length stretch as he allowed a quiet yawn to escape him. His eyes took to the men who moved around him, the same Count's who conspired to have his family killed.

Their time will come.... He mused, knowing it was the only thought that kept him from pursuing revenge over justice. Collecting his datapad and turning to his security Captain he gave the man a purposeful nod, indicating he was ready to return to his quarters.

Some of the Count's, such as Adron, had elected to stay behind one more day to finalize a few of the lesser matters, the rest were hell bent on returning to their loftier estates. As the main chamber emptied Adron could not help but run a hand through his hair with a large sigh.

"Tiny counts in their tiny castle with their tiny problems.." Veryiana whispered under her breath as she watched, perched quietly on the thin railing outside one of the windows to the hall. Her target? One of the Counts of Borgin.. she didn't think it would be so remarkably easy. Only one guard had seen her, but he was now hundreds of feet down on the surface with a severed head, which she carried with her.

As the counts begin to file out of the room she decides to take action, shattering the window with a powerful punch from her synthetic arm, and throwing the head in and at her target, it hitting the ground with a crack as people scream and shout around and rolls to his feet, he stares down at it in horror before looking up to see Veryiana silhouetted in the remains of the window and he screamed, running as his three guards open fire, but Veryiana is already on the move, jumping down from the high window and landing infront of them, her light-whip activating, a brilliant yellow as she twirls and spins it, deflecting the blasts from the guard's rifles in all directions, steadily getting closer until she's close enough to sever all their legs with one skilled swing, and as they fall she splits the closest in half, going to rush forwards and slam her boot into the second and then cut the head off the third, chasing the count down as the other counts' guards surround them for protection.

Out of the room she chases him and down a short hall, much faster than the obese completely flesh man before her, she tackles him, grabbing him by the hair and jerking his head back, staring at him with her masked gaze as he whimpers and pleads for his life, but she goes to toss him into the air, and remove his head from his corpse with a quickened blow from her light-whip.. heaving a heavy sigh as she watches it roll away.. going to pick it up and tie the count's long hair to her belt, evidence of death was important after all..

"What the hell is th-!" A man screamed through the chamber, only a fraction of a second before one of the few windows inside of the council chamber was smashed in from the outside. As would be expected from pampered noblemen and their hired guardsmen each man thought only of himself. Even the guards worried only about the lives of their wards, and no others.

Captain Nuana, a Rodian who headed up Adron's security forces, stepped in front of him. Bracing the Count's chest with his own arm he pulled his blaster pistol from it's place on his waist. "Stay behind me My Lord! Surion, Get Backup here now!" The Captain called to another of House Malvern's guardsmen. The man nodded, placing his hand on the comm device attached to his headset. Adron could not help but suck his teeth at his Security Captain, Adron was nearly a Jedi Knight and still his caretaker saw him as a child. "Enough, Nuana, get the Count's out of-."

Adron's words came to an end as he watched the lightwhip come to life, dispatching House Borgin's guards with relative ease. As Borgin raced down a nearby hall Adron called out, holding his hand out towards the two. "No! You idiot! Don't run off!" Pushing Nuana to the side Adron raced forward, his black cloak flowing around him as he leaped over the dispatched guards.

How the hell did an Assassin find out about this meeting?! How did they get past the security measures?! He thought, turning into the next hall. As he made his way down the adjacent hall he was met with a gruesome scene. Count Borgin's head had found itself clean removed from his bulbous body. Adron glared at the sight, Borgin may well have been the one to orchestrate his family's murder, now he would never know because of this...thing.

"You shouldn't have done that....Assassin." Adron seethed, his hand wrapping around his lightsaber underneath the confines of his cloak. "Surrender....Soldiers will be on their way soon and I don't intend to let you escape." Though Adron would appear a boy in her eyes he was still a man to be taken seriously, after all he was Count Malvern.

"Do not trifle with me boy.. I came here for the pig and not for you.." She heaves a heavy sigh as she turns to face him, the head of the count staring at him in frozen icy shock, lifeless eyes.. Her own face impossible to see, so it appears she is just staring at him.. but in reality she's just looking him over, he was young, but definitely seemed experienced with what ever weapon he had on him as she doubted he'd make such claims without a weapon to back it up "Run off like the rest of your people.. Fighting will not benefit either of us." She sounds.. bored. Very bored, as if she has no real interest in being here. But she was acting cautious..

Adron let out a soft exhale, shaking his head before his eyes set on the severed head hanging from her waist. "Death only brings more death....I won't let you kill anymore of my people." Adron's focus attuned to the woman as he dipped himself into the mindset of combat. Drawing his power from the never ending void of The force Adron quickly brought his hand up, sending a kinetic wave of the Force blasting towards the woman, hoping to catch her off guard.

"You will not leave here!" He yelled, the Force amplifying his voice as he did.

This indeed catches her off guard, never having expected someone of his.. stature.. to be capable of wielding the force, and she is pushed backwards, only just barely keeping herself from flying backwards by digging her metallic fingers into the floor, and scraping a large claw looking mark down the hall as she is pushed back a few feet. She then looks up at him and growls "Bad choice young duke.."

She then goes to break off in an incredible sprint towards him, her own metallic legs getting pushed on by the force energy she pushes into her body, speed.. she needed speed and flexibility, and as she gets closer her whip begins to spin in a circle infront of her, gashing burn marks into the floor.

Adron smirks at the success of his attack, though quickly recovers when he sees the assassin charging forward. Parting his cloak he drew his lightsaber, the white blade springing to life to defend it's master. "Count." He corrects, holding his arm back out to the woman again. Submerging himself into the Force he realizes that her whip is recklessly dangerous.

As she charges forward Adron taps into the force once again, this time he focuses on her metallic legs and how she channels the force into them. Focusing on her right leg he quickly whips his hand to the side, trying to force her legs to run off course and fumble under each other. If it is successful he knows it could be devastating, if not he could pay a dear price.

She's fought Jedi and Sith before.. and this is a tactic she's used to seeing so as soon as she feels the pressure against her legs she uses her own force capabilities to push back, to keep herself on course as she nears her target, going to swing to his left and alter the destination of the rotating blade so that it slashes up at his torso as she tries to pass him

As the Assassin used The Force to counter his own advance Adron's eyes went wide. "Dam-" His curse was cut off when he was forced to quickly bring his lightsaber up, nearly impacting his right shoulder, to block the lightwhip that soared for his chest. As she passed him he felt a pain course over his chest, he glanced down to see the whip had still impacted his torso.

While Adron had fought Sith before he was not accustomed to facing a lightwhip, so while he was able to deflect the main blow he was still caught by the tip of the weapon. Quickly turning to face his enemy Adron did not await her to recover from her own attack. Rushing forwards he brought his lightsaber forward in a pierce aimed for the woman's center torso, if she was exceptionally slow after her attack she would surely pay for it.

"You can still surrender!"

She once again underestimated the young duke, his blade landing but only barely, and luckily missing her valuable wiring, she whizes around, taking a step back and glares at him, biting her lip under her mask to distract herself from the searing pain.. "And you could let me go.. I get my target.. you get one less.. competitor.. It's a good deal."

[member="Adron Malvern"]

Adron quickly pulled his blade from it's target, stepping back from the woman. He held his blade up towards her with a serious expression on his face. "You murdered a Count of Serenno. Competitor or not he is not yours to kill." Adron paused before exhaling a bit, locking his eyes on the woman.

"Why did you murder him?" He questioned, not caring to press his advantage at the present moment. "He was incompetent and a clown but he was still a person."

She glares at him from under the hood/mask as she shoots back with venomous words "You would have slain him eventually, and I'm sure your hands are not clean of blood! Do not play the saint with me, we're all just animals thriving for power and revenge." She then attempts to use her whip similarly to a lasso, and wrap around his saber, then attempts to pull it from his hand!

A pause came from Adron as she spoke of him slaying the elder Count. Would he have? Had this man been involved in the murder of his family would Adron have taken his life for revenge? Would he receive even a pale imitation of the fair trial he promised this woman. However the result of the thought Adron shook it off when he watched the woman's lightwhip come into contact with his lightsaber blade.

As the tendril wrapped around Adron's blade he could not help but smile, now realizing a fatal flaw in the lightwhip. Running his hand over the activation pad to his lightsaber he watched the blade diminish back into it's hilt as he charged forward, once it was free of her lightwhip his thumb scanned over the pad again, bringing the weapon to life as he aimed another jab, this time for her right shoulder.

"This is your last chance!"

She ducks a split second too late, the lightsaber running through the very top of her metallic arm, rendering it useless but in her crouch, she goes to take a jagged metal knife and bring it up into his stomach! It wouldn't kill him.. but it'd hurt like hell, and hopefully give her enough time to escape..

Having committed to his strike Adron's eyes went wide as he saw the woman escape his blade. Damn it! He thought, though he was quickly off set by the knife the woman produced to stab Adron in the gut with. Trying to quickly back away from the blade Adron only succeeded in harming himself. As the knife pierced through his cloth robes and into his gut he could not help but wince at the pain. However, having already committed to pulling back Adron only succeeded in forcing the barbs to cut back through him once again.

Forcing him to a knee Adron held his lightsaber out in front of him, the blade running parallel to his chest. "I....will....find....you...for this. You will not escape...." Pressing his hand to the wound Adron felt his blood attempting to spill from him as he spoke.

Veryiana smirks behind her mask.. the hubris of the boy, thinking he could REALLY take her on?

"If you really are so desperate for a re-match.. find me on Geonosis.. it'll be difficult, but I'm sure you can do it young Count."

And with that she retreats.. she had her target, and she couldn't keep fighting with a limp limb.. she needed to get out. Dashing out through a nearby window she fell, hundreds of feet, but uses what little energy she has left to conjure the force to soften her fall and into the wilderness she disappeared.. heading back to her ship.

Adron deactivated his lightsaber, still holding his open wound as a team of guards finally rushed in to aid him. As Captain Nuana produced a small med kit he began to mutter angrily at his ward. Adron could not help but smirk at his Captain's father-like protective nature.

The Count's of Serenno had lost this day, but surely they would not let this be the end of it.
