Jericho
Tenebris In Lucem
Jericho was sitting up straight, his hands resting on his lap, on top of a hill near a small village on the grassy plains of Naboo. He was relaxing and reflecting about his recent events since t had been a few months now since had been back to Teth. He had been doing his training in the forests, in the oceans, he had battled great warriors as well as understood and became closer with the force. Now here was meditating here on the hill taking in the scenery even though his eyes were closed. As he meditated he could see the images of the plains, he could hear the winds and the muffled talk of the villagers below, even feel the grass brush his legs back and forth as the swayed with the warm breeze.
Then, strangely, there were vague and faded images of a person that entered his mind now. It was a man; this image of the man made Jericho feel only a remnant, a shade of himself. There were sounds, voices, that claimed he was a chaotic man with an over flow of both positive and negative energies, who drifted along causing both chaos and good. This man had not a single care in the world; thinking about him leading such a life made him, for lack of a better word, discontent.
Images of a ruff looking male with an eye patch; plague his meditations. "Is that me?" He thought to himself, having a feeling that the man was familiar. But Refusing to accept what appeared to be the only connection he had to possibly a previous life, a future self, or something he wanted to become. Still, there was one thing he admired about that man in his thoughts. It was his attitude and morals that was being said about the man. "If that being was or is me, I am my own polar opposite." It was almost agonizing for Jericho to think about.
Jericho had to cast down such thoughts, he was a man of logic and willingness to do whatever it takes for peace. He was far from the type of person to follow emotions and allowing the waves of time to dictate what happens next. The dark side thrived on their own pain and their negative emotion; to Jericho it was a weakness. It was easy to fall and use something to become "stronger" faster; they were impulsive and did not understand that it took time and patience to grow. Jericho stretched and yawned, as he again cast those thoughts aside and opened his eyes no longer pondering on those thoughts. he looked up at the clouds and watched them stroll by. "Such a peaceful day" He thought to himself. Hopefully it would stay that way.
