GENERAL INFORMATION
Annis is the Nineteenth Countess of Lopenthé, inheriting the seat from her late father. Her home city for which thenregion is named is built on a mountain with commanding views and she wakes up being able to see the distant towns of Aiphad and Fillan and then farmland stretching as far as the mountains in the west that mark the reach of her family domain. She had already gone into politics from an early age assuming that her older brother would inherit the family title. She did not want to miss out on that scene and her family happily supported her through political school and to her eventual seat as Senator. The untimely death of her father and brother handed her the family title in addition to her political title, a fact that she quite enjoys.
It is known that she wears mostly black as despite her gains from the matter she mourns her male relatives deeply and thinks about them constantly. She also looks great in black, which is a plus.
What is less known about her is her force sensitivity. She rarely uses it in political circles as it would be less fun that way and she would quickly be uncovered, going so far as to wear a charm bracelet with a void stone just large enough to affect her set in it.
In private, things are a different matter, she loves witchcraft and everything associated with it, taking the time to learn the dathomiri language and desperately trying to unlock its secrets. She has a book club of like minded individuals, some might call it a cult. She became leader because she had the most money and was usually the hostess although she is not the most powerful in the force among them. Many evenings have been filled with wine and witchcraft in her home, exploring mysteries, brewing potions and other activities.
It is known that her father intended her to marry and the title of Count makes her an attractive bride to others of the nobility but she is reluctant as it might spoil what she has built and lead to more people knowing her secrets.

HISTORY
- Born in Lopenthé
- Force sensitivity detected at the age of 5 but hidden by her parents
- Tutored in the force by a travelling force user who unbeknownst to the family was a darkside witch
- Joins political school and continues to secretly study the force alongside her more traditional lessons
- Both her elder brother and her father enter sexual relationships with her force tutor when Annis was 17.
- A year or so later the relationships are discovered, this could be devastating, think of the scandal! The woman is politely asked to leave as Annis is also now 18 and her services are no longer needed. And she left, no hard feelings, no fight. The men breathed a sigh of relief.
- Annis continues her political career eventually being elected regional senator aged 24. During this time, missing her tutor she founds her book club, they call themselves “The Sisters of Sin” and love reading salacious novels and also sinful magics. She takes the title of Sister Envy.
- Just after her 25th birthday, her brother and father are involved in a transport accident. Their ship suffers an unprecedented malfunction and plunges into the atmosphere of Naboo where it burns up and neither of their bodies are ever recovered. It is 7 years to the day that the tutor was dismissed.
- Annis takes the title of Countess and her wardrobe turns from fashionably black to mournfully black.
- Around 6 months ago aged 26 she accepted the position of Senator of Naboo

APPEARANCE
She has dark red hair which she sometimes lightens and has brown eyes. She is a slim and of an average to good height. Her eyes are usually brown but turn yellow when she channels the force sometimes, she can also make this change consciously if she chooses to. She mostly dresses In sombre blacks but with an elegant feminine flair.

She is ambitious, driven and sometimes a little detached from the little people but is not a bad person. She values her role and what she can do with it. Her force potential is useful but she feels like using it politically would be cheating and would cheaper her achievements so doesn't. Privately it is another matter and she can be subtly manipulative when she wants. She is a private person who keeps a close circle of friends.STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES
CAPABLE WITCH: She knows how to use the force and while she doesnt have access to the deepest secrets of the hidden traditions she is good at what she knows and learns quickly.
POLITICAL PROWESS: She has connections and breeding, her connections have connections and breeding. Combined with her education and natural skill, the political circles are her friends.
WHY DONT YOU JUST BUY IT?: She was born wealthy, money is no problem.
NO WEAPON TRAINING: She was taught self defense in school and has magic but doesn't really know how to use weapons beyond a grouse hunting rifle.
EGO: Her ego makes her cocky and over confident at times. It also means she fails to utilise some of her gifts because she considers herself better than that.
