Tyro'din
Worshipper Of Halrormalenth
Objective: Take out the insurgents while preserving the base.
Allies: [member="Mikkel Markov"]
Tyro'din stood at the open door of a high-altitude craft he was on. He was wearing a flightsuit with his usual outfit on underneath, he also had his respirator mask active and HUD eye piece pulled down and active. He only had his silenced rifle and knife with him.
His current mission was to destroy the insurgents that were in the base far bellow them. He was to preserve the base so that information on fellow insurgent groups could be acquired and as such he was going in with full stealth. Because he was required to leave no evidence of their visit, not even on radar logs, Tyro'din was preparing for a High-Altitude Low-Opening (HALO) Jump. The plan was to use a flightsuit to guide the fall and a parachute to to slow him and prevent death as the flightsuit would not surface in slowing Tyro'din enough when the bothan reached the time to slow. He was partnered with his friend Mikkel Markov
"You ready?" He asked Mikkel over the comms. Without waiting for a reply he turned around so that he was facing the inside to the craft, touched his hand to his forehead, prayed quickly to the Gods under his breathe and let himself fall backwards, out of the craft.
As he fell and started to reach terminal velocity, the bothan let a smirk cross his lips as adrenaline flooded is system. He basked in the feeling of his exposed fur rippling from the wind. His HUD was going wild, trying to track everything as he sped towards the ground. The only object to remain constant on the HUD was the radially growing base he was aiming for. He pulled his rifle from his back and held it in front of him. 2200 feet ... 2100 feet ... 2000 feet. "Switching to private Comm Channel." He said over the Comms system before switching channels. 1500 feet ... 1300 feet ... 900 feet. Tyro'din began to angle himself towards his LZ as he fired off a few quick shots taking out two of the four guards on the roof, knowing Mikkel could get the other two, then quickly holstered it on his side. 500 feet ... 200 feet ... 120 feet. Tyro'din braced for impact as he pulled the chord to open his chute.
When his feet his the surface below him, Tyro'din didn't fight to stay up but let himself fall with the momentum. Collapsing to the ground he rolled forward a few times before he came to a stop. He quickly stripped his harness off to escape the chute and sprung to his feet, drawing his rifle. Sure enough his earlier assumption was correct as he was surrounded by four bodies. He stood there, waiting to see if he had been heard and for Mikkel to arrive, rifle aimed on the opening to the roof.
