HISTORY
Born on the world of Valgauth, Andrei Vorn was raised in a supportive household by two civilian engineers working under the planet's naval logistics corps. His formative years were filled with stability, structure, and warmth. Music was a constant in the Vorn household, with his mother an accomplished vocalist and his father a self-taught chef who found joy in culinary experimentation.
As a teen, Andrei developed an early fascination with starship design and fleet movement. Encouraged by his parents, he enrolled in the planet's naval corps, graduating in the median percentile—neither brilliant nor exceptional on paper, but consistently dependable and highly coachable. He gained a reputation among instructors for being honest about his shortcomings and determined to improve through relentless application and mentorship.
Early postings as a navigation officer aboard picket patrol cruisers taught him the subtleties of formation flying, logistics, and timing under duress.
Possibly due to traumatic memories, or simply repressing them without intending to, he does not recall what happened to his parents or the reason he decided to leave Valgauth and that region of space altogether. Found by Niki Priddy and brought into The High Republics fold only a short while ago, he enrolled in the Defense Fleet ranks and was permitted the rank of Commander.

Captain Andrei Vorn is an imposing figure, standing at six feet, seven inches (2.01 meters) tall with the powerful physique of a professional strongman—broad shoulders, thick arms, and a barrel chest that speaks of both disciplined training and raw strength. His body is built like a durasteel wall, not only muscular but solid and weathered, the kind of presence that fills a room without speaking a word.
His hair is dark chocolate brown, kept in a neatly styled slicked-back undercut that accentuates the strong lines of his head and a well-defined widow’s peak. He wears a short, neatly trimmed goatee, framing a firm and angular jawline, with just enough ruggedness to hint at the scars of experience—one such scar bisects the corner of his left brow, a faint reminder of past engagements.
Andrei’s eyes are a striking hazy blue, deep and reflective, often lingering on people or surroundings as if he's quietly weighing them with careful thought. Off-duty: A worn, faded olive-green Henley, dark-sand armorweave pants, and scuffed black military boots—functional, comfortable, and unmistakably his.
