Ando Crude Fuel & Energy Commodities is a company that deals solely in the energy business, specifically in the extraction, refinement, and production of Rhydonium fuel cells. They excel in the manufacture of fuel cells for all kinds of vehicles, including but not limited to, capital starships, space attack craft, civilian utility vehicles, land speeders, and many many others. However successful in the Rhydonium fuel sector they are, the company has made public plans to expand towards other types of energy and crude fuels, such as Tibanna gas, Anthracite, and Malastarian fuel.
The process of production goes as following; first, the fuel is extracted by the large off-shore fuel extraction rigs built in several locations on Ando, or it is reaped from the underground deposits beneath the thick ice sheets of Ando Prime. The Rhydonium is shipped to facilities on Ando Prime where it is refined for installation into fuel cells.(Ando can only support so much with so little land and hard regulations on off-shore bases, whilst Ando Prime is fairly cheap, however low in Rhydonium deposits) The fuel cells are manufactured on off-shore rigs similar to that of the Rhydonium extraction platforms, in all sorts of different sizes and configurations. The now refined fuel is sent back to Ando for insertion into the fuel cells, and these completed fuel cells are sent to Christophsis because of its location on a hyperlane. On Christophsis there are several warehouses and trading complexes where fuel cells are either sold directly to clients, or middle man supply companies buy up stock to sell in other corners of the galaxy.
In hidden development divisions Harrison and only his closest confidants have designed and built unique weapons, equipment and vehicles to aid Harrison in his campaign against villainy in the galaxy. Kept quietly in his own holdings as well as his company's, Harrison has embezzled company profits into his little escapade, using fake clients and false input costs.
Company policies are plain, they value the advancement of the field, and their profit, in hand. They do business with all, only with the exception of criminals, convicts and other law breakers. As long as their transactions are legal, whether grey areas or not, there is nothing in their own set morales stopping them from doing business.
RATIONALE
The history of Ando Crude Fuel & Energy Commodities has its beginnings with the early career of Ewan Harrison, a fuel cell engineer who although was a native of the planet Ando, studied at the University of Malastare. Harrison had figured out a way to construct a cheap while effective Rhydonium fuel cell template, knowing of small discoveries of Rhydonium fuel pockets out in the oceans of Ando. It took him and a team of Aqualish surveyors two years to find a raw Rhydonium field, far from the islands that most of Ando's populace resided in. Having an untapped source of Rhydonium, and a damned well tested design for fuel cells that could be configured to fuel the largest capital ships, or the smallest attack interceptors, Harrison, his surveyors, and friends and colleagues who had joined him along the way, approached investors to fund him. It did not take long to find Aqualish big whigs looking for new flows of revenue, and so Ando Crude Fuel & Energy Commodities begun. To current day, it has been running for 14 years, expanding to the planet Ando Prime within the Ando System, and to Christophsis in the Christophsis system.
The more secretive history of the ACFEC began much later than its founding. Around six years before current date, Harrison watched injustices, across the galaxy in the forms of crime, villainy, and authoritarianism, and felt powerless to help them as just himself. So he created false tech divisions within his company, hidden under mountains of bureaucratic nonsense to wave off any concerned onlookers. These false divisions created unique vehicles to fund his vigilante war against the evil of the galaxy, however futile it might seems at times.
