Conceited
Corporation Name: Anax Arms
Headquarters: Anaxes
Locations: Pols Anaxes
Operations: Manufacture of military grade weapons, defenses and vehicles; development of military technologies
Rationale: Clever political scheming
Tier: 1
Description: Anax Arms was founded in 840 ABY by Isabelle Vilor. A former employee and technological developer for Subach Innes, Isabelle returned to Anaxes in 837 ABY following Operation: Weedkiller, a joint effort made by the Confederacy of Independent Systems (now the Abrion Systems Alliance) and Fel Empire (now defunct) to purge the corporation from their respective worlds in 836 ABY.
Following a three year hiatus, in 840 ABY, Isabelle petitioned to the local authority in Pols Anaxes to begin a weapons business in the capital and was granted a trading/developmental of weapons permit. Abiding by the laws of the Galactic Republic, the business had potential to exploit the arms race undertaken by the Republic and One Sith as they vied for the Core worlds, but never fulfilled this. In 844 ABY, the corporation was announced bankrupt following the loss of property during the Netherworld event, when Pols Anaxes was gripped by rioting, looting and mass hysteria caused by the sudden disappearance of citizens on Anaxes.
With all hope seemingly lost and her corporation set to join the thousands of others that were affected in this cataclysmic event, Isabelle was contacted by a Muun investor by the name of Serj Sularis. On behalf of a Chandrilian entrepreneur named Alicia Drey, a controlling interest was brought and Anax Arms, with it's identity rights and patents, became the property of Alicia Drey.
