BIOGRAPHY

Things weren’t supposed to be this way. Anastacia was supposed to have a bright future, one of science and knowledge and…

But the presence nor the past could be changed. And the future… Well, she’d have to take it as it came. It wasn’t that long ago that she remembered sleeping in her tiny bed in their 4-bedroom apartment in Coruscant. Her mother and father worked hard, while her grandmother and grandfather did their best despite stricken with an incurable but also unknown disease. She remembered trying to help her grandmother, a formerly renowned xenobiologist herself, do her work. How could she do it in her current state?

It was funny how that experience paved so much of Anastacia future. When her grandparents passed away, her mother and father packed Anastacia and her two brothers, and moved to Denon where they would remain up to the present day.

She was only 10 when they moved to Denon but Anastacia had already mapped her life out in a beautiful, elaborate timeline. At 18, she’d enroll in university. At 22, she’d graduate and go into some form of graduate school. Finally, at 24, she’d be in an entry level research position that would help her identify, track, and do all sorts of cool science stuff. Just like her grandma…

And the plan went on track, near perfectly. During her graduate years, she even found herself in the rubble of Coruscant – and found a rare, exotic metal eating organism that seemed to flourish in the ruined parts. But finally, at 24, She found herself a job at a research lab in Denon to study microorganisms.

There was many, many levels to the lab – encompassing a huge underground lab. Most of the laboratory was off-limits to Anastacia, and she blindly assumed there was nothing fishy going on.
But man… When they began to blood test all staff, the alarms rang in her mind. But she assumed it didn’t matter, right? They’d find nothing unusual in her own blood samples.

Except they did, and now she finds herself as a prisoner of her employer. Whether it was the government or just the corporation that ran the lab itself, she didn’t know. But her heart ached for what she was responsible for, despite her ignorance of it all – and the cruel irony that she was now a part of it herself…
