An Old Sith Relic

Darth Animus smiled as he stepped forward, one of his own lightsabers shooting into his open hand, and with a simple flick the crimson blade ignited, illuminating him in the darkness. "My name is Darth Animus, leader of the Jen'ari Empire Dark Council. If you believe you could have killed me that easily, your prophecies need quite some work. Now, I believe we have all come here for the same purpose, and there is no reason we cannot be civil about this. I care not for the ship itself, all I seek is the occupants within. We can work together in this endeavor. If not..." Animus let the threat linger in the air as he held his position, his eyes regarding the two figures in front of him. They could potentially be threats, but he had no desire to spend his time fighting them.

He had other things to do.

"If we have that all worked out, I shall continue on. You may follow me if you wish, otherwise I wish you a good day." With that Animus deactivated his lightsaber though he kept it in his hand. He stepped around the duo outside of the vessel, instead making his way towards those within. He came to the group of three that was arguing among themselves. He was partially shocked to see a pureblood this far away from Jen'ari borders. He was not aware any existed across the rest of the galaxy, he would need to look into that. However, the main objects of his focus were the pair that the pureblood was speaking too. Smiling, Animus extended his hand out to the side and bowed briefly to [member="Rikaelyr Ragnos"], before rising back up to his full height.

"My lady, it is a pleasure to finally meet you. My name is Darth Animus, member of the Jen'ari Empire Dark Council. I am afraid I must inform you that whatever your companion there has said to you is untrue. His Empire is nothing like the one you were part of, but mine is. The Jen'ari Empire can offer you a much better home then they ever could." As he spoke, Animus glanced at [member="Kahlil Zambrano"], taking in his appearance and silently sizing him up. He knew this was going to have to end in a battle, but he was confident it would not be much of an issue.

Elise stopped for a second, though didn't bother to turn around to see the man approaching from behind, giving a small eye role as the young dark Jedi tried to prop himself up as a threat. Kids these days, so rash and over the top, it was kind of cringe to hear but at the very least the other Sith didn't seem him as a threat... like anyone really would. "[member="Darth Animus"], I know of you, quite the defeat at the Chiss home world you had, seems the Sith and CIS saw you little group as a threat". "Not sure if that is a compliment or they are just to afraid to stand up to a empire that could give them a taste of their own medicine". Not that is was any bother to her, as long as the two empires left her alone that could do what ever they wanted to each other. "Aslo, you kid, I'd suggest no pointing that weapon at anyone down here, this place is full of those that wield power, one wrong move and you may find yourself without a head anymore".

As the three talked a loud explosion echoed from inside the ship, the other dark presence from above having gotten to the ancient wreak before everyone else, Elise following behind Animus with post haste. Coming to a halt her eyes scanned the now large group within the ships hulk in what could only be described as a Tatooine stand off. One was that of a Sith, and though youthful in look Elise could tell he was old, the other seemed to be Sith of unknown origin, though one had quite the old attire and seemed to carry a power that unleashed the powerful wave a few moments ago. "Not what I had expected, but this is certainly an interesting discovery".

Orex gritted his teeth and deactivated his Sabre as [member="Darth Animus"] walked by. Lowering his arms he relaxed somewhat and proceeded to follow the others. He knew he was out of his league, but a strong stance never did anyone harm.

"Also, you kid.."

Orex almost snapped back, but contained himself. "Damn Sith" he thought to himself, the woman's patronising words hitting a nerve. Such thoughts were quickly dispelled however when they made their way through a blast hole in a downed ship, only to come upon a standoff between several powerful Sith. Orex felt awfully.. out of place.

He observed the one he assumed had been producing the beacon. An ancient looking figure, dressed in garments only seen in the millenniums past. Another stood with her, much younger, much more modern. And surprisingly a Sith Pureblood. Orex was surprised as everything he had read detailed the Sith to be all but extinct. He knew little of the Jen'ari populations.

Orex almost interjected, giving his own input, but elected not to. His position here was a tenuous one and he didn't intend to shatter that with insults to the Sith Order.. surrounded by SIth.

Rika turned to face Kahlil "False or not, if they took the incentive to search me out. I will hear them out. Plus I do not serve any Emperor or Empress, so I do not see how that effects me?"

She watched events play out with interest as a man in simple clothing bowed respectfully to her soon followed by two more people. She looked them over quickly then back to Rage and Kahlil. She exhumed confidence and even gave a slight smirk as Animus spoke to her "A pleasure to meet one with such respect Darth Animus. It isn't my wish that this encounter ends in sabers being drawn but it would appear to me that you and companion here have a conflict of opinion?"

She turned her gaze to Elise and looked her over "Interesting indeed. I've been awake for probably 15minutes and already I have five people taking an interest in me."

So looked over the group and let the dark side flames die down from around her and she clipped her saber to her belt "So can we do this ammicably?" or do I have to force you all in line?"

"I never claimed for the Sith Empire to be the old, Darth Animus." Kahlil kept a level tone from where he was standing. His sword rested behind him, floating as a casual reminder that he was ready to fight should it come down to it. But he had no desire for it to come to blows, much as [member="Rikaelyr Ragnos"] had said. And he was outnumbered. [member="Darth Rage"] was not a clear ally while [member="Elise Ike"] and [member="Orex Mauda"] were both an unknown, though they did arrive with [member="Darth Animus"] giving him reason to assume the worst.

"If your desire is to seek out the False Emperor I cannot stop you, but it will mean the next we meet we will be enemies." He gave a simple nod to the Assassin Lord before he stepped to leave. There were too many threats to remain any longer.

Darth Rage eyed the woman before him quizzically. She seemed to believe he was not a threat, normally he would've rectified this by skinning her alive, but there was no need for such animosity yet. She had only awoken and she was unawares of the new powers he had wielded... Rage laughed out loud as she mentioned his proposal and other clashes of times past.

"Ahh... But, you and I would've been such a cute couple," Rage said with a wolfish grin that bellied his words sincerity.

His Sith Tremor sword began to tremble in his grasp. It's darkside alchemy begging to taste the blood of his enemies, but Rage stilled it as others soon arrived. They were all unknowns to him, people who Rage had only heard in passing. Such as Animus, or even Orex the crime lord. None of whom Audroti wished to deal with personally. Audroti listened to them speak intently and sneered at Animus's words.

"Your Empire isn't even a shell of the former!" Rage balked at the audacity this man had at comparing his empire to the one of days old.

Kahlil began to leave and Rage decided it was time for him to follow suit. He had hoped to convince Rika to join him in his quest for power, but it soon became obvious to many unknown were in play...

Rika looked over at Rage and smiled at his response. "A sith doesn't dally below her rank. You should know this from your training on Korriban." She patted him on the shoulder as she passed him, her intended target was Kahlil after watching him walk away from her side.

Pressing her hand to his back, she willed him to stop just for a moment to listen to her.
"Ki dazik dzis wisûo ki. Nu jonj j'us ki natura, Nu wont tutzari sis." (My thanks for waking me. I owe you my life, I wont forget this.)
She let her hand fall from his back and turned to the others. "This man woke me from my slumber and saved me from dying from suffucation due to power failure. A life spared for a life spared, he gets to go free. Should anyone attack him, I will be forced to eliminate them. Everyone understand?"

Orex stood and watched as the conversation unfolded. A tense threat of conflict lingered in the air, never quite breaking but always present. He felt separated. Numerous Sith, some even old acquaintances continued to engage in oddly threatening small talk while he simply observed. HIs obvious weakness infuriated Orex but he kept a level head and continued to listen.

The Ancient specimen was gearing to leave, accompanied by a representative of the Jen'ari. A pity. A living relic, ripe with knowledge and Orex lacked the opportunity to exploit this treasure, or even to introduce himself. But the ship would have to do. Perhaps he would return here and dig up the ancient vessel for study. Knowledge was Knowledge after all.

As [member="Rikaelyr Ragnos"] and [member="Kahlil Zambrano"] began to leave, Orex quietly spun on his heel and paced out of the Cavern. On his way out he contemplated. An interesting find, one that was teaming with rare and valuable potential. And yet he was too... Weak to exploit it. Anger and Disappointment whirled within him as he approached his personal craft. "Such a shameful experience will not occur again", he thought to himself.

It was funny, to hear the banter between the different Sith, all the talk of 'I've gained more power' and the typical 'I serve the real empire'. Always strange that sith never got along, always with the competition... not that she was much different, one of the major things preventing them form ever gaining power over the galaxy.

She had no real idea what was going on, only that the pure blood Sith had beef with the self declared stasis women, while [member="Darth Animus"] seemed persistent to quarrel with the other man. It was probably safe to assume he was from the 'Sith Empire' judging from the small exchange of words. She was honesty surprised that no one had tried to start a fight yet, her eyes following the women as she went to leave the ship, though not before Elise strolled up to her side.

"So can I ask a question, you don't need this ship right? and any strange artifacts on it are up for grabs? or do you have certain attachments for some things"? "After all would be a waste just to leave if her and slowly rust to nothing, may as well salvage what is possible and preserve it", not an everyday thing to see such a nice and old ship. Still even if she said yes Elise had a sneaking suspicion that the pure blood would also want to take some stuff for himself, along wit the Jenny man.

Darth Animus nodded his head briefly as the situation began to diffuse itself, clipping his lightsaber to his waist. He dipped his head in acknowledgment of the threat given to any that attempted to assault the retreating Sith Empire agent, and in truth he was fine with that. He had come here for a specific task, one that involved the woman here, and not any of the rest. The words of [member="Darth Rage"] irked him slightly, but he did not let himself rise to the bait. The Jen'ari Empire in current times was not as vast, or as powerful as the one it took inspiration from, certainly. However, at the end of the day, they were united together. A single force that lived and fought together. He was alone, isolated, and seeking support from all those that he could. Animus had no such issues.

"My Lady, you have my word that he shall escape this world unharmed. But, I wish to speak with you further on the nature of your history, your awakening, and what your future may very well hold."

Rikaelyr thought to herself as Elise approached her, thinking back to what was in the ship storage before the crash. A memory flashed in her mind, a few crates of Ardees, some old meads from her time and several crates of wildlife, which seemed like those that survived were already loose from the ship "Take what you want from this ship, the only thing of value to me now is my dead crew. Even in death they can still serve me, I must find them." She looked over at Rage and then to Animus. Her attention returned to Elise "I already have a copy of the ships last records, I need to look through them first however. I must find out who attacked me all those years ago."

Rika walked over to Animus "I thank you for your understanding and your continued respect. We shall indeed have time to chat, however I ask for your aid for a moment. I am going to do something very rare and potentially dangerous to myself. I ask that you keep people from interrupting me whilst I do this. Can you do that for me? In exchange I will give you all the time you wish to converse."

Rika departed from the group and walked back deeper into the ship, she needed to find a place she could meditate and draw the spirits of her crew towards her.

She gave the women a short Atrisian bow, an act she didn't do often, but this women, was technically older then her and far more accomplished, in some senses. "I appreciate it, and do not worry, I'm not taking the entire ship, just historical data and perhaps some certain parts that I can put into a museum, I'm sure an 'Ancient Sith Ship' exhibit would be a nice addition to my collection". Not literally, having people know where she lived wasn't on any priority list at the moment, well unless her planet was taken over by some government.

She gave no mind to [member="Darth Animus"] or [member="Kahlil Zambrano"], both seemed to adhere to the neutral space set up, at least for the time being, but the other one, the Sith pure blood, he was still quite the wild card to keep an eye on.
