Private An Ending to a Beginning

Iandre was nearing the end of her walkabout and feeling rather pleased with how things had gone for her. She had made more than one friend and connection. Her path was far from unstable, and she was happy she would be returning to the Diarchy in short order. She missed her life there, the friends she had made, and her love. Not to mention her master and all the men of the Lilaste Order. Perhaps she should have kept them updated. The need to get away for a time and think about her life choices, where she had come from, and where she was going. When she got back, she would have stories to tell and experiences to share, and maybe go to the next step in her relationship with Diarch Rellik Diarch Rellik .

However, before she would head back to Bastion and that long journey, she wanted one last dinner. Landing on New Bornalex, in her time, it was a Confederacy world. Something the former Jedi had noticed was that there were few traces left of her time. No real legacy had been left behind. Things were now mere shadows of what they had been or had changed so much they couldn't be recognized as any relation to her past.

Paying more attention to her datapad, she did notice there was a cafe nearby. Putting it away, she headed inside to let them know she was going to be sitting outside. Once that was done, she turned to head back outside and took a seat at the table she had been eyeing when she walked up. She was seated before noticing a man had sat down at the same time she had.

"I guess great minds think alike. Do you want me to find a different table? I'm Iandre, by the way."

Adjusting her bag, she was ready to move if he asked her to.

"I hardly mind, not at all... Just... A drink and a snack before wandering. Unless you're offended by radical political ideologies, offbeat opinions on music, or general disdain for holovids of the modern era, we can share and have a conversation..."

He settles in, nodding to the chair across from him politely, somehow looking utterly relaxed despite the hiccup in picking a seat.

"Wandering? Sounds like something I'm just about done doing. A good conversation about radical political ideologies, offbeat opinions about pretty much anything, and ew! Does anybody actually enjoy watching those things? I guess they do as they keep coming out, but ugh. The modern era holovids certainly leaves something to be desired. I'm Iandre, and I'm glad you don't mind."

Taking the chair she had been going to sit in originally, she leaned back after introducing herself.

"Are you wandering because you're searching for something or trying to escape?"

Normally, it would be one of those two reasons, but she had the feeling his answer might be different.

"Are you wandering because you're searching for something or trying to escape?"

He looked up from his drink, shaking his head. The question was observant, and not said overly rude or insistent. But it cut through the blaise and the relaxed front he put up.

"I suppose a little of both... My old life isn't for me anymore, after what I've come to know... But... I'm not exactly sure what is me honestly...So... I'm here for a meal and a thought until I know where i'm headed next. No sense wandering on an empty stomach"

Sitting back, she rested her hands on the table in front of her. Not because she felt he needed to see them, but it was comfortable for her. It might also provide him with some sense of security that she wasn't going to shoot him from under the table. They had just met, after all.

"That is something I can understand to a point. I'm done wandering, and this is my last stop before I return home. I set out to discover and learn who and what I am. I think I've figured it out."

A glass of water was set in front of her, along with menus for them. Raising her eyebrows slightly when she finished speaking, she picked up the menu. Glancing at it for a few moments, she set it down after deciding what she wanted.

"Maybe I can help."
