Santhe. A name that held great weight in Imperial circles on par with the Tagges and Tarkins. Their role in the First Galactic Empire formed by Palpatine centuries ago had cemented their place in galactic history, and more recently their participation within the Empire of the Lost, the Diarchy and now the Imperial Confederation had kept the name relevant and influential in modern times. In recent times however the Santhe Familiy would experience a split due to the diverging ambitions of two prominent members Vyllia Sancetti and Eirys Santhe with Vyllia having taking control of Santhe/Sienar Technologies and separated it from the Santhe Corporation which Eirys would take over shortly afterwards, with the Santhe Corporation under Eirys remaining in Lianna.

Recently as part of his overarching plans to transform the Imperial Confederation into a true force of Imperialism in the galaxy, Sularen had taken a great interest in Eirys Santhe and the Santhe Corporation, hoping to include Eirys in his plans for the Confederation while also simultaneously incorporating the Santhe Corporation into the Military-Industrial Complex of the Confederation. By successfully incorporating Eirys and the Santhe Corporation into his greater plans, the Supreme Commander would be one step closer towards the completion of the first phase of his strategy, which would enable him to properly tackle the many challenges and obstacles that the Confederation currently faced.

Now, the Supreme Commander found himself within the confines of the Santhe Corporation's headquarters on Lianna in the Imperial-controlled Tion Sector being lead by the building's staff towards the office of Eirys Santhe where he would soon meet with the head of the Santhe Corporation ready to secure Eirys support and negotiate mutually beneficial contracts with the Santhe Corporation.

Before long, the Supreme Commander would find himself right outside Santhe's office and after taking a deep breath he opened the door and stepped in ready to begin the negotiations.

"The Neyrix stands as a dark monument in the Halequarn District within Lianna City. The pyramid's stark, imposing design rises sharply from its foundation, with its dark façade unbroken by signage or ornamentation. Surrounded by dense urban architecture yet set apart by a secured no-access perimeter, the structure commands both attention and unease..."
-- A description of the Neyrix, an ancient pyramid located in Lianna City, and headquarters for Santhe Corporation, N&Z Umbrella Corporation and Vūm.

Eirys got up from her desk as Sularen was escorted into her office. It was a large room filled with the type of furniture and aesthetic one would come to expect from the CEO of a company as large and powerful as Santhe Corporation. Diminished though it had become, with thanks to the disastrous Kilran regime (combined with the split of it's most profitable and largest subsidiary), Santhe corp retained all the air and appearance of an entity that had once been comparable, both in scope and political power, to that of a moon. But as the Supreme Commander entered her office Eirys suspected that he knew that for all the pretence and purposes her company was not what it had once been in the past.

"Commander Sularen," Eirys said in greeting as she crossed the threshold between them. Leaning in to plant a kiss on Sularen's cheek, she turned to his side and gestured for him to join her at the couch situated in the far corner, away from her desk, where a table and an assortment of other furniture gave the illusion of comfort to draw Santhe's most prominent business partners into an air of false security. After bringing Sularen to his seat, Eirys reclined herself into the couch and folded one leg over the other to settle her stupor eyes upon her quarry.

"Thank you for making the time to come and meet me in person. I understand that a man of your position must make you incredibly busy so to make the time to come into my office today must mean that we have something important to discuss."

It was textbook salesmanship. In order to sell your items it was important to create obligation in the customer, and so by pointing out that Sularen had contacted her in person (rather than through a hologram), Eirys sought to create the type of importance that would make Santhe Corporation obligatory to the plans of the Supreme Commander and to that of the Imperial Confederation. In this way Eirys could begin the work of elevating her company back into it's former position allowing her to compete with the likes of the N&Z Umbrella Corporation who had made great in-roads with the other Imperial remnants and who had therefore begun to monopolize the technology, shipwright and security sectors that she was in business with.

"I am sure my company can help you with whatever it is. How can we help you today, Commander?"

As Sularen stepped into Santhe's office, she offered a short greeting and proceeded to quickly inquire on how her company could help him with whatever he sought here today. Santhe was straightforward and direct, which were qualities that Sularen could respect. No pleasantries, just straight to business and the Supreme Commander was more then willing to oblige. Once he took his seat directly opposite to Santhe's seat in her office, the Supreme Commander proceeded to speak.

"I'm sure you're already aware of recent developments that the Confederation has had to face. The Battle of Atrisia, the Collapse of the Galactic Alliance, Increased Piracy along the Parlemian, the Sith Raid on Voss and their Heist of the Wheel." he began. "A new era has begun as the balance of power in the galaxy is shifting and there will be a lot of conflicts that will follow." he added. "That being said, i've heard your company has been seeking to integrate itself into the Confederation's military-industrial complex through your Aegis Line and i figured now would be the time to have the discussion on how it can be incorporated in our new generation of TIEs"

This was how he would begin. Cater to the Santhe Corporation's interests within the Imperial Confederation and from there leverage that into getting Eirys Santhe into helping him with his greater ambitions for the Confederation itself. A win-win scenario for both parties which would benefit both Sularen and Santhe. Now the only thing left was to find out whether Santhe was reasonable enough to throw her weight behind this arrangement.

Strands from the sun basked Eirys and Sularen in dusk. The day would be ending soon, and by the end of these negotiations, with the right deal, the Imperial Confederation would be beneficiary of the Aegis line designed by the blonde sat across from the Supreme Commander. When Marlon finished his explanation of galactic events concerning the confederation armed forces, and his understanding that Eirys desired to incorporate her technology into the military-industrial complex that Sularen had worked tirelessly to revive since joining the Imperial remnants, Santhe adjusted herself in her seat and then leaned forward to retort.

"It is my objective for my company to become the prime manufacturer, and distributor, of starfighter tech in the Imperial Confederation," Eirys explained. "Aegis can be utilized to rehaul fighters currently in service. This would shorten the time necessary for upgrades as we can install Aegis tech directly into TIEs presently in service rather than waiting for the usual timeframe of manufacturing new products and then distributing them where required."

On the table between them both laid a miniature holographic projector which Eirys leaned forward to turn on. When it was active she programmed it to display a hologram of the Santhe IE-78 'Aegis' Ion Engine, and as it floated above the table, Eirys turned her gaze back up to Marlon to continue her explanation.

"Installation and subsequent programming of this engine can take place, per TIE fighter, in a standard two week window. I would need insight into how many fighters are presently in service to come up with a timeframe of how long a full refit would take but these logistical challenges can be easily overcome with the right plan. I am confident Santhe corp could deliver in good time and naturally we would co-operate with the armed forces to schedule rehauls accordingly so that there isn't a shortage when it comes to military matters."

Reclining back into her seat Eirys took a moment to smooth out the wrinkles in her pants and then continued her pitch. "As for the manufacture of new TIE fighters we have created a new adaptive hull system, reinforced ionization plating, and regulation submodules that could be implemented into their design. In particular our SCX nines could be fitted in alongside new ion engines for pre-existing fighters presently in service. I would recommend them. They are highly efficient at redistributing power."
